Or somebody who actually gives a damn about this board right? NP, fact is, I'd rather not even have to educate your sorry butt, but since you don't have enough going on to abide by the board rules, I guess I'm stuck with trying to teach you. You know what they say, can't always pick your students.

I'll make you a deal though. Don't bring your racially driven BS on this board and I won't go out of my way to point it out and make a big deal of it. That way, you don't have to get lectured and I don't have to try and teach something that you should already know.

Deal?

You are burying your head in the sand.

Edit: for clarification

I agree that this type of discussion is simply not healthy and should not be a part of this board.

But to be so offended at the mere mention of this subject is silly in my opinion.

It is a very relevant subject and is at the forefront of discussion nationally for many different reasons. Just because you might not want to see it appear in your own sporting sphere does not mean that it should be classified as 'BS'

We also deserve that D, Emmitt, Jimmy Johnson and a smart front office etc . I was a huge Troy Aikman fan. But this team doesn't match that one anywhere. They all made clutch plays, all stepped up and won games. and it started with quality coaching and preparation.

Yeah man. It's true, all of those guys were great and all of those guys were a clear notch above this current team but hey, they were a clear notch above almost any team ever. Now, a lot of that was because they were all great players in their own right but even more of that, IMO, was because as good as they all were individually, the sum of their parts was even greater and that is so rare, can't even begin to explain it.

I often think about this, to be honest. I am hard on the teams and players that came later and I sometimes question that about myself. I mean, no they don't measure up but how can they? They just don't have, as you say the D, Emmitt, Jimmy J and the smart front office, as you say. Never mind the sheer talent all together in the same place, at the same time. It's a little unfair I suppose.

30 TDs that’s not including what he can do rushing wise.

Carson Wentz fans needs to go back to their own forum.

You keep saying 30 TDs. He threw the ball nearly 600 times, man. this isn't some feat - it's the modern NFL. He also had 4 games this year without a TD pass, all of which came against tough defenses or important games.

Stop leaving out context.

Why can’t people simply think Dak isn’t the right guy without this kind of nonsensical exaggeration? Of course Dak isn’t as good as Rodgers, but a scrub? 306 passing yards and 27 points per game worth of scrub? The standard isn’t either elite like Rodgers or scrub, with nothing in between.

Simple minded plebs paint everything with broad brushstrokes is why.

Knock it off.

It's silly to equate the dislike of a player on their race rather than the play that we see. The VAST majority of this board would take Mahomes, Wilson, and Jackson over Prescott right now. Anyone baiting with their baseless BS is simply doing it because they are out of arguments.

When you resort to implying something like that because you're a cowardly little brat, you have no place in a public debate. Take your temper tantrum elsewhere, along with you and your defense of this. Get lost.

Chill Scooby.

You have nothing. Attempt to defend that argumentative tactic here, boy. 4 other posters here constantly try doing this because they are completely out of arguments in support of Dak. There is nothing else they can go to, and instead of simply saying "Okay, maybe you were right", they attempt character assassination.

Grow up. Take a class on debating and better your skills or keep your trap shut.

That's the problem. That entire group was talented and well put together. And clutch. It's certainly a little unfair on all fronts. The Prescott/Aikman comparison means nothing without all those things they each had to work with.

Dak had a lot to work with this year and failed. Failed in the clutch. Failed against winning teams. Failed against good defenses. Failed against a couple bad teams as well.

So, yeah.

See my edit.

Thanks for the edit. It helps greatly.

To your point, I understand your point of view but this is simple. The rules of this board are clear. They state the following:

#5 - You will not post racist, race-baiting or sexually insensitive discussions or comments.

#7 - You will not post political discussions or comments.

I have posted the link to the rules of the board below.

https://cowboyszone.com/threads/cowboyszone-forum-rules.239487/

Beyond this, the Staff and Administrator (Owner) of this board have made it very clear multiple times. This board is about Football and there are other sites from which to wage war or fight the battles of racial injustice or political warfare. I understand what you are saying and can even appreciate the point you are trying to get at, but not here.

I'm not supporting Dak, i seldom comment in these silly threads, and i'm not saying that everyone who doubts Dak does so for nefarious reasons, but on this board the hatred he receives is simply incongruous with his past performances and attitude.

I'm signing off on this, as i should.

Absolutely, that's true. I mean, fans are always going to compare but it's never going to be an apples to apples thing. Of course, the other side of that is that people also have no business comparing Dak to Aikman or what have you. The comparisons, because they go both ways, are ludicrous on the face of it IMO. But it is what it is I suppose.

I don't care about your opinion of Dak. I can easily handle the counter side to me on that. When you go to character assassinating, that's where the line is crossed and gloves rightfully come off.

Again, any of defense of this is shameful and not worthy of being in a public debate on a freakin' football forum. Get a grip and take it to Facebook or something if you DESPERATELY need to cry about someone not liking a football player because he stunk in multiple games this year and people dare say he might just suck.

So, yeah.

a lot to work with? D sucked and coaching sucked as usual. Things have to improve drastically in every category. No one on this team shows up in a big moment. They all fail miserably!
