Very true, But he was the Backup to start the season.. So my point still stands. This isn't a Daniel Jones/Manning situation nor a Romo/Dak situation. Mariota was and has been the starter.

I remember when the Chargers had that great regular season record only to get ousted in the Divisional round. I think their head coach got fired. I would fire Harbaugh.

I live in St. Louis as of the past 2 years so it is kinda neat to see the Chiefs doing this. Also, went to College at Texas Tech so Mahomes connection is cool.

He got out of the car crash of a franchise in the Dolphins, surrounded himself with some talent, a decent o-line and solid coaching.
