also no one can answer your question, you would need to research it by doing searches, and find each team in the playoffs, and how
they drafted the past 5-10 years. Also get cowboys draft and then compare and figure out who we passed on.
It would be interesting to see who was still there when dallas made the bad picks, like taco trysten, gregory, escobar, and many others.
It would take some research, unless you find a site dedicated to such a topic.
I actually received two or three correct answers. Some people know their football

The domino effect would've been interesting.
In 2005, Romo was still a 3rd string QB buried on the depth chart.
But Sean Paton loved Romo and knew he was a pet of Parcells'.
  • What if Dallas took Rodgers in 2005
  • New Orleans traded for Romo in New Orleans, so he is with Payton
  • Then, most likely, New Orleans does not go trade San Diego for an injured and questionable Brees that same year

Romo probably would go down as one of the better QB's of his generation had he went to the Saints. Instead, he was disrespected in Dallas but he got paid good money I guess and got a nice little gig after his career.

Absolutely. Very solid career and even very good at times.
Yeah but not 1st overall selection good. I mean it was better than a lot of busts but if you told me I was getting that for a 1st overall pick? That would've been unacceptable.

Yeah, it worked out k for him.
I suspect, because New Orleans always made sure they had a good line, he may've played longer...and maybe a lot longer
But then, who knows, maybe the CBS gig isn't there.

I’m so upset, the 49ers second round of Super Bowl. Before us. And they look absolutely unstoppable. Best team I’ve seen in three seasons. They’re playing like men. Tennessee looks pretty good running the ball
no reason to be upset, just enjoy watching them play.
I like SF, Tenn, KC, and Seattle is meh, but I enjoy them still sometimes.
I will root for SF over GB or Seattle if they were to win.
Probably will root for TEnn over KC , or houston should they win.

It’s simple man. There’s 6 teams left every player drafted by them, not taken before our first round pick is a player we passed on. Pull up drafts by year on Wikipedia and take a peek.

this question always makes me think of the '83 draft and how the rest of that decade might've changed for Coach Landry.
He wrote in his book that he needed another dirty dozen type draft class...the opportunity was there in '83...looking back.
QB Dan Marino
WR Mark Clayton
OT Irv Eatman
OG Tom Thayer
OG Mark Bortz
DE Richard Dent
DB Albert Lewis
LB Karl Mecklenberg

woulda been a needed infusion of talent at the right time....would love to see what their original draft board looked like.
you can do this with any draft...and DE Jim Jeffcoat was a good'n and one of my all-time favs...but Landry coulda had a helluva offensive trio moving forward in Marino-Dorsett-Clayton.
and with Albert Lewis joining Everson Walls,Dennis Thurman and Co.,woulda been a helluva secondary.

Players the Cowboys passed up on in the draft .I can’t help but wonder how many players are playing in the playoffs this season that we passed up on in the draft .

Every team passes up on good players and misses on some. Looking at our roster we’ve done pretty well overall.

Yeah its definitely one of those things he shouldn't have regrets about. It played out much better than 1st overall picks can say theirs did lol.

I agree I’m a cowboy fan. But I’m also a football fan. 49ers and cowboys playoffs better than sex LOL

Sunday Ticket is for soft millennials
I’m 65. So I guess I’m not one of them. LOL I live in New England 30 minutes from Gillette Stadium. Do you want to watch the Cowboys get NFL Sunday ticket. Now I learned how to stream

This is always dumb....

how many teams would like to have Daks production from the 4th round slot? 3rd? Or even 2nd? Hell the 1st as some have drafted some duds this decade.

martin got picked what 16th? After Johnny football lol
