Jimmy left his team. And he left them with a toxic culture that he allowed. He did the same thing at the university of miami. All because he wanted to disrespect the hand that fed him. Too proud to share the limelight. As Jimmy found out in miami, it was all genius of him that won championships in Dallas. It was Jerrys willingness to give him the resources. He didnt have that kind of owner in miami and how did it work for him there?

But Jerry talked about JImmy in the ROH at the HOF. Said he wanted it to be "its own special attention" I think its going to be this yr

Jimmy and Jerry have gotten over their past. You see this when Jimmy talks about Jerry and when hes a part of topics related to Jerry. Most times then not he's backing Jerry.

Won't ever happen because Jerry is trash. Pure scum and trash and since Jimmy, he has ran this franchise into the ground trying to control it all. Screw you Jerry. You would be a nobody without Jimmy. And no, it was not you who did the Herschel trade.
Don't beat around the bush. I want to know how you REALLY feel. :D:grin:

Its funny that fans still feel salty about something that doesnt concern them, while the 2 parties are over it.
They're not over it. He'd have been in the RoH a long time ago.

We haven't gotten over it because of the last 25 years of crap and Jerry trying to prove he's a football guy. He'll never convince me.

i just gave you a quote from Jerry when asked specifically about Jimmy during Jerrys HOF yr. Jimmy has even said when Jerry wins a super bowl he would be one of the first ones to congrats him. Jimmy sticks up for Jerry alot.

They have made nice publicly, but it's still there.

How can you possibly explain how a 49er got into the RoH before Jimmy?

He should have been in 15 years ago.

no he should not decline.

Contrary to popular belief Jerry and his family are not the Cowboys and that ring of honor represents something special between the fans and the teams. Jimmy Johnson represents that in every way possible and should have been in there a long time ago.

anytime anyone thinks of the cowboys of that era you think of Jimmy right there with Aikman/Emmitt/Irvin. He should have been in a long time ago and he should have been part of the ceremonies putting his players into the ring and honoring those teams over the past 15 years.

Jimmy matters to fans of the team more than Jerry or any of the jones family ever will. No matter what Jerry says he will never matter like jimmy and those players did.

he deserves to come to the stadium and have his day with his players and allow the fans here to thank him for those years and Jerry needs to stay out of it.

The fact thatJimmy Johnson was voted into thre Hall of Fame before he was in the Ring of Honor proves further what an embarrassing and petty hillbilly owner that Jerry is.

Jerry owes the entirety of his NFL success on the field to Jimmy. He was a clown before Jimmy got here, and he's been a clown since.

Jerry continues to be a malignant cancer to this franchise.

Hey needs to make amends and perhaps remove the curse of "Jimmy" on this team <sarcasm off>

But seems he would finally just put his ego aside and honor Jimmy. We all know Jimmy did the heavy lifting, but Jerry did hire him. So there's that.

Cowboy fans never had a chance to thank Jimmy after he left. It's time.

It will look hollow and insincere at this point.

it will but again that does not matter. Jimmy, those teams and the fans have a bond and he deserves to come to this stadium and get his name put up there where it belongs and be honored.

You go to games you know what its like. It was a great moment when Drew Pearson got in a few years ago after all those years same for Gil. It was a damn shame Tex Schramm was not alive to go into the ROH and was put in that october after he died in 03 vs the eagles.

Jimmy is alive and healthy. He should get his moment here with the fans and his players.

It's embarrassing that Jimmy isn't in the ROH. Without Jimmy Johnson there wouldn't have been 3 Super Bowl wins. How many has Jerry won without Jimmy or the team he built? Switzer won with Jimmy's team plus Deion.

Agreed. But the Triplets should introduce him. Jerry can watch from his Snoke perch.
