Such a backhanded compliment. Jimmy Johnson made the Cowboys. Jerry was there for the ride. Stop all the Jerry Jones apologists.
Jerry should be thanking Jimmy every day of his life for making Jerry a HOF inductee himself. If Jerry is left to his own devices the Cowboys still are stuck at 2 SB's. Jerry has and always will be an egotistical clown.
Maybe it would have been better, Jerry would have probably sold the team by now and we would have a rational owner who actually cares about winning.
Don't call yourselves Americas team when you haven't even sniffed a SB berth in 25 years.

I don’t care what anyone says. Actually I do. To a man, Troy, Michael and emmitt said they left Superbowls on the table because of the Jerry thing.

exactly. Jason Garrett will get in the ROH first before Jimmy...and I am not kidding. Jerry stating the obvious about Jimmy being a great coach was kinda a swipe at him..because he left out the part where he helped evaluate and find talent!! To say that he is a great coach isn't giving him his full due. He was much more than that..MUCH MORE. He was the swag factor of the team. HE AND IRVIN were the heart beat.

oh I saw it. He said great coach. lol..and we all know Jimmy was much more than that...so does Jerry. he will never say it because it absolutely kills him inside.

Depends how one looks at it. I didn't see anything wrong with it. Because for the most part it is true. There were several circumstances that made it all come together. People hate Jerry so will never give him any credit.
And since they hate him will scrutinize his every word. And rightfully so at times, but not all the time.

jerry Ran Tom Landry out on a rail, with no class...YET after 10 years of ineptitude, Jason Garrett gets the red carpet send off and all the time he wants to say his good buys. lol...and Jerry just couldn't get enough of him lol..the love was kinda bizarre. TOM AND JIMMY got treated like total crap, yet were the winningest coaches the cowboys ever had. Does THIS make any damn sense at all, unless Jerry is so egotistical that he is simply jealous? I THINK ITS OBVIOUS. Dude wants it all..the credit..the accolades..all of it.
