Titans; Chiefs; Packers; 49ers... we are most built like the Titans right now. What do we need to do to improve and be even better then them. They remained me of the our 1014 and 2016 team but we had Romo in 2014 and Dak in 2016.

Better defense talent/effort.

Cowboys had no issues running the ball against weak teams but struggled at times against good teams and/or went away from it too quickly.

Everyone knew Henry was getting the ball but he still ran through people.

Wish we still had Leary at LG. Definitely missing his meanness and ability to roadgrade.

I am looking forward to seeing the defense in 2020 under new coaches. I think the offense will look different but I do not expect it to perform much better, it might even slip a little in yards per game. There will be changes on defense because of free agency, and I suspect philosophy. That is where this team will improve the most.

I am hoping new coaching will also improve the offensive line play, or at least make them more consistent.

Not specifically.

But what you can do is have multiple guys who win against man coverage every time, and then run a system that throws the ball to those guys. Cooper, Gallup, Jarwin, Zeke/Pollard is pretty close to enough. They just don't have anyone who gets vertical like Hardman/Hill. That element alone makes this offense a lot more dangerous.

Numbers wise its likely to take a step back. Consistency and red zone efficiency / making our field goals would be a huge upgrade. When we were on we were fantastic and when they were off it was really bad.

and our D wasn't very talented and fundamentally sound. SCHEME has much to do with it. Jaylon and DFLAW was a farce. The interior of the D all the way back to safety was mediocre at best. Heath and woods flashed, but not real consistent. WE GOT EXPOSED ALL YEAR. Changing out the coaches on a grand scale like MM has, will pay early dividends.

We're going to see what McCarthy brings to the table, but Garrett brought NOTHING!

Just have to ask a simple question

Would there have been any possible way that would have held
  1. the Patriots to 13 points
  2. the Ravens to 12 points
in back-to-back weeks?
