No, it hasn't been proven incorrect, because it is made up, especially relative to the idea that they are required to stuff the run. Remaining teams rush yards per attempt allowed rankings:

Titans - 7
Vikings - 18
Ravens - 21
49ers - 23
Packers - 26
Texans - 27
Seahawks - 28
Chiefs - 29

Passing NY/A:

49ers - 1
Chiefs - 5
Ravens - 6
Vikings - 7
Packers - 16
Titans - 19
Seahawks - 24
Texans - 25

Offensive Passing Y/A:

Titans - 1
49ers - 2
Chiefs - 5
Vikings - 6
Seahawks - 8
Texans - 11
Ravens - 12
Packers - 17

But please, keep telling me how stopping the run should be a priority, and how the fat guys who stop the run are crucial to getting to the Super Bowl.

It is a passing league. The run game doesn't matter.
And you once again forgot to check whether they had them on the team or not. I have to conclude that evaluation and assessment are not your strong point. Boy, but you sure can blather and throw out some irrelevant info!!!!!!!

San Fran was 8th in y/a. Baltimore's an outlier because of Jackson. Both were top 10 in passing y/a.
And now you've been proven incorrect yet again.

Anyone would sense would think about this and consider changing their viewpoint.

What are you rambling on about?

The teams in the playofffs are mostly poor against the run, and mostly good against the pass. That's not irrelevant...

Don't cherry pick. SF has more attempts, you said the run game doesn't matter, it was a passing league but SF has more runs than passes. Tell NE rushing doesn't matter as Henry ran all over 'em and they couldn't score from the 1 yard line.

2019 rushing Y/PG

SF #1
Balt #2
Tenn #3
Seattle #4

All 4 teams in the playoffs.
Yards per game doesn't matter, especially for Balt and Seattle.

"Committing to the run isn't just committing to the run. I always say 'Do you guys want to run the ball?' Yeah. You better be able to throw it then." - Kyle Shanahan. He'd throw it 50 times a game if that's what the game dictated.

The Titans scored 14 points. That game is a good example of how you can win when the opposing offense's pass game is abysmal.

Speak for yourself. You're entitled to an opinion, you're entitled to decipher drive stats anyway you like but you're not an expert bro

I don't claim to be. I just think that "We need Danny Shelton/DJ Reader" conversations are pointless, because there is absolutely 0 evidence to suggest that those players make any bit of difference in winning or losing.

In general, there's just absolutely no correlation between running the ball and winning. It's not a matter of how someone deciphers stats, it's how it is. Both the 9ers and Titans got a lead by throwing the ball yesterday. The Chiefs scored 28 offensive points in a row and had 2 rushing yards from RBs. Aaron Rodgers torched Seattle on third down, and the Seahawks came back when they stopped wasting time trying to run the ball. Every game was decided by the passing game.

Today on the radio Will McClay confirmed they will be scouting big boys (Nolan likes cloggers), so that was some great news today.
