DW & PM signing their deals benefits the cowboys more than DP this time around imo.

The other quarterbacks made it to the post season this year and DP did not.

My understanding was DP bet on himself this season and that bet fell flat.

you don’t understand much.

This was daks best season statistically by a long shot.

Destroyed the doubters wrong again.

Why does that matter? It is irrelevant whether I do or not.

If JJ paid me to care I would, but he does not so here we are.

Do you know what the salary cap is and how well a team manages it affects the product they put on the field?

But the eye test lol
12 QB's better than Dak , they were all in the playoffs, so that puts Dak somewhere from 13 to 20 that is not 35-40 mil $$$$$ that Dak is looking for, I have no problem paying Mahomes the $ he wants, but Dak isn't 1/2 the QB he is. Jerry will pay Dak and it will be another bone head Jerry move. Dak is average as QB's go and the record proves it. Do you want to be stuck with Dak for 5 years or try him one more and see, I think one more and see. No matter how it shakes out next year should answer a lot of questions.

I like Dak a lot, but I'm really starting to get annoyed with the fact that the deal isn't done yet - this guy is going to cost us one of the top WRs in the league (Amari Cooper); his #1 weapon if his agent keeps playing games.

I said it last year they should have locked him up before wentz and goff got done. I knew this past year was going to be better than 2018. Maybe the jones' didnt offer a good enough deal or dak wanted to prove it.

I wasn't ready to sign Dak until I saw his deep accuracy improve. But they should have been able to see that in camp,

I figure if you're going to pay top dollar you should at least get quality merchandise. Looking at Dak's draft report we're getting Walmart returns. I like the kid, but he's not that much different from when he was drafted.

Not all his fault, but he's smart enough to read that report and see what he needs to improve and then go out and make that effort. He hasn't done that. He's just gone along with the program in place knowing Dallas has no one to turn to but him.

We ain't got a contract situation. We have a hostage situation here!

We will see if you are still crowing after 5 more years of average Dak that all you Einsteins want.
I’ll take 5 more years of leading the league in passing and leading the #1 offense.

They key is more consistency. Too many games we got off to slow starts and had to fight to come from behind - and it wasn't enough. I have to believe things can be done to help with that problem.
