Besides Jimmie Johnson, (who just got voted in Hall of Fame-no thanks to Jerry)
what other ex-Cowboy should be in the Hall of Fame ?
What other ex-Cowboy has been has been snubbed from the HOF thus far ?

Drew Pearson ?
Darren Woodson ?
Everson Walls ?
Erik Williams ?

How much of a chance do they really have ? (and how many chances to get finally voted in?)
I never saw Cliff Harris play but the old schoolers say he was in that Jack Tatum, Night-train Lane level in that 60's 70's era.

Do you think we currently have players that will eventually be Hall of Famers (hint?)

I think we only have a couple of current players that can/will end up in the HO: Jason Witten, Zack Martin, Tyron Smith. Too early to tell with Zeke, but he and maybe Fredrick are the only others that might have a shot.

I wonder if Tony Romo actually has a shot at the Hall of Fame ?

- with Tyron Smith, I would think the NFL World sees him Orlando Pace, Jonathan Ogden. Walter Jones- Generation kind of era dominant OTs. and those guys went No.1 to top 6 overall in their respective draft class.

- if he stays healthy I think Zack martin has a much better chance at HOF than Fredrick.
will eventually be considered a generation Hall of Fame OG such as Larry Allen, Mike Munchak, Russ Grimm, Randall McDaniel and Wil Shield.
Bruce Matthews was all over the place as OG, OT, and C.

- I think Jason Witten will make it in, but I also think its fortunate that he is a Cowboy too.
Ditto for Romo.

Woodson and Pearson may have an outside chance. Walls and Williams have no chance.

It's Cliff Harris (not Harrison), and he was named to the all decade team of the 1970's, and was a great player. He had range and could put a big time hit on a player. He was also a pretty good punt and kick returner for part of his career. If he had played a little longer he would probably be in, but he retired at 31 years old.

Time to give up on the Landry era players getting in.

Erik Williams time as a dominant player was really just 2 seasons but he was the most dominant OL in history during that short time.

Might be 2nd behind Lawrence Taylor as the most dominant football player of all time but only for the 92 & 93 seasons (pre car wreck).

Woodson should be in. As an overall player he was as good as anybody. He could play anything from Nickel LB to Nickel CB and was great at both FS and SS. The vast number of other talented players on those rosters over-shadowed his accomplishments but if all ex NFL players could be returned to their prime age and entered into a draft, Woodson would in the top 5 Safeties picked.

Cliff Harris and Charlie Waters are beloved by Cowboys fans, but Woodson was more talented than either was a considerable margin.

Some of the Landry guys may get in the same way Jimmy did... through a special event that circumvents the normal process. Though with this being for 100 years, I don’t know what the next one would be. Maybe a descendant of Drew Pearson will accept his enshrinement during the 200 year celebration of the NFL on the planet Jupiter...

Its a travesty that Drew Pearson is not in the Hall, he has some of the greatest catches for wins in NFL history. As small as he was he wasn't afraid to go over the middle, great hands and he could run after the catch, but his best characteristic is that he showed up for big games. All decade team.........go figure.........

Harvey Martin was one of the most dominant pass rushers in history, but they didn't keep sack records most of his career. He had an unofficial 23.5 sacks one season, which would be the record if they kept sacks as an official stat at the time.

But he also had long history of drug and domestic abuse problems, which hurt him probably both by keeping him from being even a greater player than he was, and no doubt hurts him in the eyes of HOF voters.

As a player no

As a broadcaster absolutely....he may be the best ever when it’s all said and done
If he continues to be a popular TV personality, it could boost him up as a player candidate in the eyes of voters. I doubt it will help enough, but who knows.

Woody 100%. He was a monster safety that could man cover WRs and fill holes like a LB.
Big E had a very short span but dominating Reggie White for 2 seasons should merit serious consideration.

Mark Stepnoski...But he is a big Cannabis guy so that won't happen. Maybe if he was ok with Pain Pills he would have a chance

Never saw them play, but what about Harvey Martin? Maybe Too Tall?
Some of you older fans from the 70s might have a good list of names.
