He only hired Parcells to get the stadium built. Once it got approved and all, he moved on. He never intended having Parcells here long term. I wish Parcells was here for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Especially 2007. People point to his 0-2 record in the playoffs but he was building something special. He took a 5-11 3 years in a row and went to the playoffs with Quincy Carter. He slowly built this thing back up but never got to coach it at its peak which was 2007.

Some of you act like Jimmy hasn't caused bad blood with others.

Troy has admitted he stopped speaking to Jimmy a few times throughout his life. I don't think Jimmy is some saint, nor do I think he was a saint in the situation that split he and Jerry. And while he was allowed, I personally don't like coaches that come in, build something, and then abandon it midway through (which Jimmy admitted he was going to do anyways)

jerry will be relatively quiet until the team is successful. they he will swoop/swipe in like Jaylon and take credit for everything.

All the existing players will continue to goto to Jerry. Rookies might not but all the vets will bypass the coaches and goto Jerry for any issues

It’s up to Jerry to send them back and say deal w the coach and not me

We shall see

Jerry Jones will have changed if-and-when he relinquishes his 30-year role as general manager. He is the owner. He is the president. There is zero need for him to continue being the general manager but he wants to continue being the general manager 100%.

Do not allow his relative small token actions to fool you.

I'm still in the camp that believes Jerry realizes he's not long for this world and has decided a return to the super Bowl is priority #1

I believe he has decided to hire people to get that done, and he'll quietly drop the jocks to socks thing. He fully realizes he doesn't have a 5 year window to screw this up.

not the staff on Jerrah, Stephen and consortium.

And then Jimster makes the Hall of Fame despite Jerrah refusing to endorse Jimster's contributions.

Remember..Jerrah has not inducted Jimster even to our Ring of Honor yet.

Now he will be forced to correct that stance.

Humbling for Jerrah but both changes are welcomed.

Now if we could just hire Aikman as GM..

we will be speeding down the highway of football with everything needed to reclaim our place at the top of the heap.

I would even accept Moose Johnston as a hire to prepare him for the position. He did a good job with the San Antonio Commanders n the defunct football league.

He even approached the Cowboys about work after he was released in San Antonio. He was the most high profile personality in management in that league.

Hire him and start rebuilding the management beneath Stephen now.
