if you read the article that was put out by bleacher report, McCarthy wanted to run the ball. But Rogers changed up the plays so that they would stop running it. Rogers, not McCarthy was at fault for not running it more.
Don't find Bleacher Report credible? Fair enough.

Perhaps you'll find these other sources attesting to Mac's buffoonery in not featuring Aaron Jones in the running game more convincing:

McCarthy on Aaron Jones, who had 22 snaps behind Ty Montgomery (29) and Jamaal Williams (33): "I think it's very obvious the balance that we're seeking from the running back position...I feel really good how our backs are being rotated." 11:43 AM · Oct 8, 2018

That whole time we heard from Rodgers is being held back by McCarthy. Soon after he is fired, they are back in the NFC championship with a coach with no real experience. I don't pretend to know the ins and outs of their break up but the fact is, they are back to the top of the NFC right after he left.

And I was a big fan of the hire fyi.
Sometimes even the best get fired. Ones trash is another’s treasure. The NE coach was once fired

Perfectly said. Sometimes a change in scenery is exactly what's needed.

At the end of the day we are better off today than we were with Garrett.

Personally I'm excited to have him here and looking forward to see what he can do for our team.

The Packers wasted some prime years of Aaron Rodgers by not surrounding him with more talent. I think McCarthy didn’t know how to adjust to a declining generational talent and he lost his job.

That doesn’t mean he won’t improve our team. Don’t forget our teams have on average been more talented than the Packers. That wasn’t the problem.. it was our terrible coach and culture. McCarthy can make us better and that’s all that matters.

There's no question to me that Mike McCarthy was holding GB back by the end of his tenure. None.

The best case scenario is like what happened to Andy Reid: he wears out his welcome with the team and fans in Philly, he gets a fresh start, he gets back in his old mastermind OC groove, then once he gets his quarterback, his new team is fully back in the Super Bowl drivers seat.

Maybe McCarthy just needed a breakup with his unquestionably giant ******* of a quarterback, plus some time to rebuild his stale offense and reevaluate his chronic mismanagement of his coaching staff. I don't know, I'm reaching here. I really, really hate the McCarthy hire.

I would worry more over centipedes having 414 legs, 200 poison glands and 4 penises.

Rodgers isn't the main reason for the team's turnaround. They rebuilt there defense and have a run game now. He's having an OK season, but is hardly carrying them.

I don't think you read what I typed. I was pointing out Mccarthy was a freaking idiot for not giving Jones all the carries. He was splitting it up between Jones and Williams mainly with Montgomery getting some work too. It was ridiculous.

Yes. The entire staff is over rated. But atleast MM looks like he is in charge of his staff. If he also is in charge of players he has a chance to almost make the playoffs.
