Carmichael was not a Cowboy. His one catch does not count.
He was on the team, so yes he was a Dallas Cowboy. Hate him for being an eagle all you want but when he is inducted it will say Philadelphia Eagle AND Dallas Cowboy

Pearson and Carmichael are contemporaries. They played at essentially the same time. During that time, Pearson was a three-time FIRST TEAM all-pro. Carmichael was a three-time SECOND TEAM all-pro. Pearson was a FIRST TEAM selection for the all-1970s team. Carmichael was a SECOND TEAM selection. Those selections show what the people who were tasked with ranking the players during their careers thought of how they compared. Carmichael was a fine receiver. Does not deserve to be HOF before Pearson, plain and simple. This was a whiff from the selection committee.

Yes, Harris getting in corrects a wrong, but Carmichael's selection along with Pearson's omission creates another.

and lets not forget the snubs on the all-100 team.
i'm supposed to believe Tony Dorsett wasn't one of the 10 greatest RBs of all-time?
they're tellin me Michael Irvin isn't one of the 10 greatest WRs of all-time.
you're tellin' me Mel Renfro IS NOT a top 10 CB?
same for Chuck Howley.

the joke continues.

Do I care? nope. he was an eagle. nobody cares that he played 2 games. his HOF credentials are from the other team.
I don't even remember him as a Cowboy. That's how little he is to this team. At least with Mike Ditka he contributed and coached here. He went in as a Bear but I consider him a Cowboy too.
