You really didn't get that I was joking? We had weeks of posts here saying Moore was going to be forced on the new HC and the new HC just said that he clearly has had respect for Moore for a while. That's the point of the thread, if I knew the Jerry joke was going to cause a full scale freakout here I wouldn't have posted it.

And what does this have to do with you trying to change the phrase that I had you put in your sign line under the terms of losing the bet? Oh, that's right, NOTHING! There was no qualifiers on that, until you tried to include them today because you didn't like what you were required to say. That's where the "lie" occurred.

Tiresome. The bet was about Garrett getting a HC job, not that "golly Stash was right about everything going back to 3rd grade".

You will be wrong on the bet next year when Garrett does go back to a HC job, which is what I said in the first place.

You're the one that said it's funny that McCarthy won't call plays after fans complained about Garrett standing around doing nothing ...

But calling plays, and standing around not doing anything are not the same thing. Some perceive it as such, but that's a false characterization. What being animated and engaged does is at least help fans understand that a coach can be involved even though he isn't calling plays. Fans saw Garrett on the sidelines with a stoic or stern face rarely talking to anyone other than a pat on the back or butt when the players come off the field, and the perception was he did nothing. McCarthy will give a different perception
