So is Cobb safe?

Despite a few drops I thought he was an improvement over Beasley..

If only for his thankful attitude to come to Dallas vs. Beasley's negativity.
Cobb’s contract was just for one season, so he will become a free agent unless the team can work out a new contract.

I heard OBJ tried to seduce him with some cocaine, a blunt and a butt tap.. He said "Nah, I'm out."

90% of our drops are on Dak....

That’s easy to say considering Dak delivers the ball for all those drops. I’d truly love to know the real metric on that stat. As far as I know, no one is counting poorly delivered or uncatchable passes, right? So, I guess a drop is something the statisticians consider a ball the intended receiver should have caught and a poorly thrown pass is merely an incompletion?

I don’t believe 90% of drops are on Dak, but I’ll bet it’s close to half. He needs to get better.

This new bunch of coaches that McCarthy has assembled seem likely to be quite as no-nonsense as he is. Hopefully, the days of this team being so non-accountable might come to a screeching halt. That, in itself, would essentially be a just cause for celebration. I'm optimistically expecting MM and his new coaching regime to make it so. Jerry surely must abandon his days of circumventing his HC in dealing with player problems, as well. ;)

Hiring a guy from the Browns to improve accountability isn’t a great idea IMO. Especially at WR. Gallup needs some serious development. He’s almost better at the spectacular plays than the easy fundamental ones

I'm not so sure everything about the Browns was bad. It remains to be seen what he'll do for us. I trust MM's talent judgment. though.

You would think it wears on the Jones.

In the beginning, owning and being involved in running the show was good.

But over time, goals were switched around.

ATT and the Star and other businesses took priority. Romo was holding team expectations.

The Garrett Experiment has moved to NY.

Thankgoodness.

Now, the team has to drop back and address the really important part of the formula.

The Cowboys.
