Decent OC, not a good HC. Good luck to Garrett-top, he’ll probably do well in the Big Apple.

Are you serious dude? You think player development only happens when you’re starting? Have you completely forgotten that player development for first 2-3 years of a player’s career, regardless of starting position, is VERY important, especially as a quarterback.

Your obsession with Garrett goes beyond football. You’re still fanboying over this guy while he's currently employed with the Giants. Just stop already.
Then how do you dispute Garretts development of Prescott?

What's it going to be then, eh?

Joe Judge: "He does a fantastic job of making in-game adjustments.”

The giants are idiots.

The guy will be as predictable as dirt on the ground and water in the toilet.
It’s football not rocket science. You either have the talent or you don’t. Coaching beyond assembling the talent is over rated.

I’ll take the most talented team with worse coach over the least talented team and best coach every day.

He will do well there, he’s a better oc than head coach and he’s got a good qb prospect to build around
He also has an awesome RB. Garrett will do well in year 1 until people figure out what he's doing and he doesn't change anything.

It will mostly depend on if Daniel Jones is their guy.

If he can be developed then they might have something. I’m sure this is one of the reasons they hired Garrett with his track record of developing QB’s.

This will be first time Jason has had a 1st round talent to work with. I’m sure this attracted Jason as well as being from the Jersey area. It could be a good fit if they can shore up the OL and horrid defense.

Garrett actually sucks at all things football. Were just a beat down fan base that has become so accustomed to losing that when we have moderate success we think its amazing. Why do I say he sucks? Because having a decent every other year or good offensive stats mean next to nothing to me. The true measure of a coach is being able to consistently win the big games and consistently beat the good teams. Garrett NEVER DID THAT. In fact, he produced the exact opposite. Garrett to NY? Good riddance!

I don't know much about Jones, but accuracy is pretty important in the Garrett offense. Is he accurate enough? I know he wasn't in college.

In any case, I fear the Giants a lot less than the other teams. They're a mess.

I do wonder if he will have a conservative approach and use his playbook. Or if he will be taking JJ’s advice on going for it on every 4th down still. And also was his hands tied calling plays. I know the players execution had a lot to do with it. But he used the same predictable playcalls for years. Playing them now will make me nervous. We been pounding them for a few years now.
Especially because he’ll know every guys weakness on defense. Hope the new defensive system throws him off. Otherwise get ready for Barkley up the middle 25 times.

I agree. Everyone is glad he went to the GIants but that is the last place I would have liked to see him go. He knows the weaknesses of our defensive players and will attack them twice a year. I hope our D is different enough that he can't expose much. He also knows Dak's weaknesses and will help them zero in on playing to them. I'd rather have seen him go to the AFC where we played them every few years.

Just because Garret went to Princeton doesn’t mean he needs to run their original offense XD

Entirely different scheme and players for our defense this season.

You likely see, Lawrence, X Woods, A Woods, Smith, LVE, Awuzie, Lewis and the rest are new faces
