There arent any top 10 Safeties in this draft

Isaiah Simmons?

He can play Safety and is going third in some mocks right now. Either way its too early to say what the top ten prospects are IMO, that will change a lot leading up to the draft.

I find it kind of funny that there are some in the past that have said "no" to trading a first round pick for Adams that were also totally OK with trading a #1 for Cooper because we "were just going to use our first round pick on a WR anyway". Well, if you believe what's being said, S might be a prime target with our first round pick.

I'd rather have Adams than Delpit or McKinney.

Exactly...………….I would much rather have Delpit and there is a very good chance he will be there at 17.

Delpit has questions about his ability to tackle. And he's a total unknown commodity. Adams is not. We have the cap space if we use it wisely to take on Adams.

I have no problem keeping the pick or trading it depending on what McClay, Jerry and McCarthy want. But people fall way too in love with the romanticism of draft picks. Adams is a stud SS, a big need for us. He's also young. I'd take him and his future big contract over Delpit in a heartbeat.

Delpit had an ankle injury which caused the tackling problem.

He’s in Dallas this weekend. Maybe he’ll be at nick and sams tonight. Everyone will be telling him to just stay

Delpit was hurt this year which affected his ability to tackle...……….go look at his 2018 season tape, he was not missing the tackles he missed this year.

I’m a bit surprised it’s that close. Adams is a known commodity

delpit is not I only seen him once and didn’t come away thinking the guy is can’t miss prospect but I’ll leave that to the experts

Not saying should they necessarily make a trade. Asking if they should restart trade talks
No...
They wanted a.first...even if they reduce that to a 2nd...still no...the draft is coming and you can get a safety in the first..
Much cheaper..trading for.him.would costbtwice...in draft picks and in cap space.

And next year we are not going to the Superbowl.
