agreed. Just hope Dallas doesn't spend the time and then lose him like they did Sean.
If McCarthy does well in Dallas with Moore as the OC, there is a near 100% chance that Moore will leave the Cowboys to become the Head Coach for another team.

The first 3 games and 1-2 other games were significantly different from an offensive philosophy than the rest of the games....I truly believe Garrett stifled Moore's creativity...maybe he felt threatened by Moore, maybe he was just too conservative to let Moore do his thing, I don't know. What I do know is there was a Jekyll and Hyde type game plans last season. I really want to see what Moore can do with a more supportive HC. I think he has a lot more to offer than what we saw last season.

I agree 100%, McCarthy will be very involved and will not let Moore control all offensive aspects. He'll teach Moore the way he runs the offense, molded with some of Moore's current understanding and take it from there. Think McCarthy will be in his ear a lot on 3rd down and red zone.

There is no way to know that at this point.

If they're going to run McCarthy's scheme, they will like use his terminology.

It's not as-if the terminology they used in 2019 was "Moore's" terminology. It was the terminology used by Garrett.

The Cowboys have put an emphasis on getting smarter players on offense in recent years.
Dez: Cut
TWill: Cut
Cooper: Acquired
Gallup: Drafted
Randall Cobb; Signed
Tony Pollard: Drafted

Frederick, Martin and Connor Williams are all have above average football intelligence.

La'el is about the only offensive player that seems to be a slower learner type.
I think MM plan is to start with Kellen Moore's offense and edit it with his own as time goes on...
Over time i want to see less JG/Moore's plays and more MMs

First time he runs it up the gut on first down pull him to the side and tell him “keep that crap up and you’ll be out the door too”

Kellen Moore is highly respected as a "football mind".

We've probably all seen the Jon Gruden video with Moore and Gruden has made comments since then that Moore will be a great coach.

I've also seen interviews with college coaches both the Moore played under as well as played against that had high praise for his "football intelligence".

Several of the Cowboys players have praised his play designs which I don't remember hearing with regards to Garrett or Linehan.
Many said it was JG's bad O, many said it was SL's bad O now we have MM and a failed boy genius and everything will be basically the same so that new plays and terminology will not burden the O and you are good with that. Where was all this great football IQ creativity in 2019, oh forgot evil JG didn't allow it so he could lose his job. It's going to be a long off season.

First, are you being sarcastic? There's a lot of that going around! :muttley: If not...

What would justify such a leap?
Does KM really want that?
Why would Dallas allow that to happen if it works?
Why would Moore want to go from success to uncertainty?
