What's real telling is no other NFL team has hired him as a position coach, much less a DC. In fact, it doesn't appear he's gotten many interviews either. Shows how little NFL people think of him.

Shows how little you know.

We have Nolan coaching our defense now.

For the record, my brother and I were not impressed from day one.
Kris Richard was, is and will always be a poser. Fake tough guy.
He lucked into being a position coach for three All-Pros in Seattle.

Fired as DC once is became apparent the job was too much for him,
despite having Bobby Wagner to lead his defense. No matter what the
Duncan fellow thinks, not retaining Richard is addition by subtraction.

While I'm not exactly thrilled with Mike Nolan, at least players will be taught
to actually resemble a defensive secondary. They need pressure up the middle
on defense and a big body (the Ravens have four in rotation) to plug the middle.

KRichard is an elite coach.

Sure he could. Why not?

I said a couple of weeks go that since he got here his stock has slowly fallen a little bit every week. Now it's to the point he isn't getting calls or interviews. Going back to the collegiate ranks might be his best option at this point.

hes from Cali.

This is a guy everybody and his brother thought would be an outstanding HC, and he’s not really even getting nibbles it sounds like. Yet another illustration of mob opinion not mapping at all to reality when it comes to how the league really works. Shocking.

he has a super bowl ring.

As Manning about KR's defense.

I think his personality rubs pros the wrong way. And his technique of not looking for the ball is stupid especially in the pro game with PI being such a huge penalty.

Guys not being taught to look for the ball should help to explain why we dont get the INTS everyone craves.

That was part of his legend when he got here. And yet he’s having trouble finding a gig still. It’s interesting, right?

He's an unemployed coach.
Right now his options are to wash jocks at USC or be a team mom on a
Pop Warner squad... lol

Jason Garrett got a new job before your boy, Richard. That's gotta hurt... lol
Hey, maybe he'll show up in the XFL.

And for all the people who still want to say he had no blame because he was using Marinelli’s scheme (even common sense says that’s not the case).

Then he must be the stupidest coach/business person ever.

I said all year you don’t call the plays if you don’t agree with them because then when they don’t work you’re out of a job and it’s hard to get another one when you fail that badly. And Marinelli wouldn’t let someone call plays that didn’t agree with them because he would be out of a job.

So now both were out of a job. Marinelli at least has value as a pure DL coach in Vegas as long as he doesn’t pick his players and Gruden won’t let him. Can’t believe 1 of the 2 wouldn’t have thought that through before hand.

They both believed in the system and it was just a bad system. Thus they deserved to go.

who says Richard was fired? His contract was over.

Of if he even wanted to stay?

He wants to be a DC or the HC for a team.

Especially with Nolan being the DC in Dallas.
