Agreed, but that doesn't invalidate my statement, I just didn't add the "or a franchise defense".

It's just that some here say that the Cowboys won't ever win the SB again with Dak, because he's not "elite", and that having the "elite" quarterback is essential to winning it all, and we know that's not true.

Besides, if "elite" means you have to be able to "carry the team on your back", and the quarterbacks I noted this year are "elite", then why didn't they get their team to the SB?

"Elite" is such a debatable quality, I just don't like the term, anyway...
