Option 1 - 20m worth of D-Line and a rookie WR in the 1st round.

Option 2 - Amari Cooper and a rookie DT with Kinlaw project to go 14 and a maybe to be there.

Option 3 - 20m worth of D-line, a rookie CB in the first and 2nd round WR

I’d take option 3. It fits the draft and IMO gets the most bang for buck.

Is the money referencing FA spend?

Man thats is tough because the though of losing Cooper is tough bc he’s such a great match for Dak when he’s healthy.

How about:

- Resign Coop
- Mid value FA DT
- Mid value FA S
- Mid value FA DE
- 1st round DB
- 2nd round DT

Assuming we lose Jones to FA...do we think this is doable?

I think both Dak and Cooper will be resigned. Jones signs a team friendly deal. We draft the highest rated player on our board. Kinlaw will be gone.

interesting.

I feel like good rookie WR’s and corners can produce right away but I’m dubious on DT’s and to a lesser extent DE’s producing before their 3rd year. Excluding really early picks like Suh

WR is one of the tougher positions to transition too..

Actually all 3 of those positions need more then average seasoning then others.

I haven’t done any analysis but I always felt like It was:
1. QB, TE, DT
2. DE, WR
3. CB, S, OT
5. OG, OC, LB, RB

I guess we did look terrible at WR before Cooper arrived

Depends on who that rookie CB is in option 3 but I am going with option 2

is there an option where we re-sign DT Maliek Collins....draft Delpit or Gross-Matos or Fulton at 17...then draft DT Leki Fotu,Utah in the 2nd?
because I'm for that.

I suspect kinlaw will ease his way up the draft
Really don’t see why he’s projected as low as some mocks have him

Option 2 all day. Dak without Amari is awful
