I went and took a quick gander at Dak’s performances since his 2nd season.

In the last 50 games (including playoffs), the Cowboys have won 2 games against teams that finished top 10 in scoring on defense. 2!

One of those games was against Philly in Week 17 in 2017. The 6-0 game against their third string
What happens when you add his rookie season?

Good, now go back and look at other QBs and see their records against Top-10 Defenses.

You could be completely correct and Dak has by far the worse record. But I think you just may be surprised that Top-10 Defenses are actually tough on ALL QBs and Teams with Top Defenses typically have really good records for that reason alone.
All I know is I quickly looked at Wentz and Goff and they have 3x the number of wins against the same defenses.

Wentz alone this year beat:

GB
CHI
BUF

OK, that's a start. You need what, 10 more games from each to make it a apples to apples comparison, right? After all, they both could be 3-10 for all we know.

It’s always that one that has to reach.......welcome to the thread.....smh.

Hey man I used to be a “hater” But thankfully my eyes have been opened. Whereas before I thought Dak at $35 million per year would be grossly overpaid, Now I believe that that is just not enough

Dak Deserves minimum $60-$70 million per year. If he gets paid any less than that it’s an insult and it’s totally unfair.

we need to pay him now and then just sit back and wait for him to figure out how to read a defense and make accurate on time throws. But there is no room for doubt and there’s no room for questions. Individual thought will not be tolerated or left unchallenged

I for one am sick and damn tired of people being able to have differing opinions about our quarterback and get away with it. Anyone who is not 100% on board with Prescott needs to be destroyed, ganged up on, and banned

This is a stupid sample size because it purposely includes the games where everyone knows he plays bad.

It's not even worth talking about pre-Amari games.

I’ll go one further. I don’t think any games where he played bad should even be included or considered because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt they weren’t his fault.

He’s the best damn quarterback that’s ever suited up under center in the history of football and it’s time people acknowledge that and rally around him

If he had a game where his numbers weren’t good then it was the receivers, the o-line or the coaches or perhaps even that damn other team that just tried too hard to stop him. Either way it was not Dak’s fault and that’s unfair for those other guys to try to stop him anyways. Those opposing defenses are nothing but a bunch of haters with a clear agenda

they should be banned from this forum. And from the NFL for their hatred

Glad you’ve seen the light. Get some of your crew of flunkies to come to the party.

I just think you need to get all of your crew together and just continue to gang up on them like everybody did to me. They’ll eventually see the light. Either that or they’ll pay the price for thinking independently

Either way that is not my concern. What is my concern is making sure those rotten SOB’s are not allowed to question Dak Prescott

You get your clique together and you take care of these guys right now please. Enough is enough. Hate is not welcomed here

Yes.

Including stats from Dak's rookie year to make some claim about what he is now is stupid.

I completely agree. Stats from three seasons ago are only applicable when they make Dak look better. For example when discussing “his” win loss record

that is totally applicable and beneficial to the conversation. But other than that anything that happened in 2016 should be off-limits, especially if it doesn’t reflect well on Dak Prescott

Anyone who feels differently is clearly blinded by hatred and clandestine agendas that they don’t have the guts to share with the general public

Man you are slow.

His LAST 50 Games DOES NOT include his rookie season.

16 games in 17

18 games in 18

16 games in 19

50 games
I don't care. It doesn't matter. Games in 2017 or pre-Amari in 2018 are completely irrelevant to what he is today.

First off Im a Dak fan I like the kid and who he is and how he handles himself. I dont see him being a elite QB at this time and Im not a fan of over paying him. That being said he will get paid around 33 to 35 mill with heavy guarantees. Just my feeling
The problem with our offense is that we poured it on against every bad defense we played and shut off against any decent to good defense. Saints, Packers, Bears, Bills, Vikes, Pats and even second game against a banged up Philly Def. We couldnt score. So the question is were we just that more talented to overtake the lesser defenses or is our scheme so poor that better teams we weren't able to rely just totally on skill alone.
I mean for a team to score so many points but do nothing ( except in garbage time which made things look better in a few games)against the better defenses I feel is a cause for concern. What are your thoughts on this? Was it scheme? Dak? Coaching? Or us overvaluing our talent?
you are the winner by starting the 700th Dak post of 2020!!

you win the dunce award.. add to the other 699 as its being hammered to death all over this page and you needed a new one?:huh::popcorn::oldcouple:
