I'm also disturbed that this tweet has periods after teams' names when almost none belong there (absolutely none when you abbreviate Minnesota, yet spell out Philadelphia on the same list) and that the 2nd column's data isn't properly aligned. Is it just me?

Pretty sure Philly’s only been to 6. 5 under Reid and 1 under pederson.

Our 7th was 1980, way before the timeframe implied

But even the 8-8 years it came down to the last game to get in. And that is the goal every year, to get to the playoffs, then go from there.
Qualify for playoffs, win the division, win in the playoffs to get to the SB.

That is still no excuse, but it is better than bottom feeders for 25 years.

So were supposed to just accept being the NFC's tallest midget for the last quarter century? I think not.

You hit the point that is killing me. Many teams (49ers, Rams, Philly, Denver, etc) go to SBs, then go bad, then back to SB or near it while we keep roaming in the wilderness of mediocrity ...

You are correct. 2001 - 2004 and 2008 under Reid, and then 2017 under Pederson.
