I am not seeing what you guys are seeing in Gallimore. He looks like a 3rd rounder to me. I'm not big on taking 23-year old, redshirt seniors that high in the draft either.

He has some Trysten Hill to him where he is so eager to penetrate (cough, cough selfish) that he doesn't keep his gap integrity and even when he does, he's a bit of a pushover against the run. He's like a lesser version of Maliek Collins to me.
Exact clone of Collins. Give me Kinlaw.
I do like Gallimore’s motor though. I’d think about him in the 3rd but no higher.

Kinlaw all day. In fact I’d be willing to double dip and also get the big DT out of Utah in the late 2nd or 3rd.

I like Kinlaw of your group.

For me, my group of three is:

Kinlaw
Chaisson
McKinley (I like him better than Delpit, especially if what they are looking for is more of a SS type to play alongside Woods).

Chaisson is a name I hope we consider but that's because I am bizarrely obsessed with edge rushers. We have Lawrence but after that it's a bunch of questions at DE. Quinn and Bennett are FAs. Armstrong appears to be a decent back up. Other than that? Gregory?
Chaisson is a guy I like a ton. His ability really stands out and I think Nolan could find a lot of ways to use him.

I typically like to see more production but I like everything else about him. Athleticism, effort, loves the game, smart... I really like him.

Best player available....

Javon Kinlaw DL South Carolina
D'Andre Swift RB Georgia
Kenneth Murray LB Oklahoma

A RB and a LB?

I take it you're not a Zeke person?

I really like Murray but I feel like its overkill at LB, especially with a majority of defensive snaps only have 2 LB on the field. Great player though.

yup...I'm done w/ Zeke. I think he holds this offense back. Gaping holes.. only to find contact or get caught from behind....plus...let's face it...is he really what you want to be the face of the franchise?

Plus I think Swift is a special home run hitter...wish he was a little bigger....but he is so quick.

Love Murray...guy is all over the field. Gotta admit I'm worried about LVE. Especially if the rumors are true about neck fusion of the 5th and 6th cervical.

Really don't like where we are sitting in the draft...don't think your going to get value that matches our needs. I hate the idea of reaching for a CB like C.J. Henderson CB Florida or Kristian Fulton CB LSU ...And really not a fan of Xavier McKinney FS Alabama.....saw him take the high road on way too many tackles this year. Doesn't like contact.

I'm with you. 17 is a weird spot. Seems high for Henderson and Fulton. I usually really like Alabama safeties so I'm surprised I'm so lukewarm on McKinney. One of my scouting buddies said he's another Minkah and I love Minkah so I'm really trying to go back and watch more.

love all 3....Delpit is,in my opinion, the best S in the class.....how can you not like Kinlaw...and Im a sucker for DEs 6'5 or taller(too tall Jones fan...still am) and this cat is a play-makin' dude with a GREAT story...helluva person with a lion's heart.
Delpit has some serious tackling issues which is a huge concern for a S.

Javon Kinlaw
Tee Higgins
Xavier McKinney - I prefer him to Delpit because Delpit's tackling this past year reminded me too much of Xavier Woods.
I agree on Delpit and his tackling issues and then McKinney lacks range and struggles in coverage. Question is can Delpit and his tackling issues be coached out of him or is that who he is?

Taking a TB at 17 would be crazy, even if you don't like or think Zeke is as good as some think.

It would be a redundant use of resources taking Swift unless you have some sort of magical trade up your sleeve that somehow gets us out from under the big contract Elliott just signed.

You likely can't cut Elliott for two more seasons. So I am not sure you end up getting any value from taking a TB at 17............ either Swift isn't getting the carries over the next few seasons to justify the 17th pick or Elliott isn't getting the carries while he carries two big cap hits the next two seasons.

Kinlaw is my pipe dream although I want to know more about his knees. If he is healthy without chronic knee issues I think he can be our Fletcher Cox and we desperately need someone like that. But, if he is healthy, I don;t see him dropping to 17. We'll have to see. The combine often changes things up quite a bit. Kinlaw is killing it at the senior bowl,, or was until to chose to sit out because of his knee.
