Heard this afternoon that until he is either tagged or signs a new deal..

developing anytime with McCsrthy is null and void.

So does that also mean he is not allowed to go to the Star for meetings, too?

Heck, if so.

I give it until McCarthy comes out of the restroom after lunch tomorrow before Dak is signed.

Can you guys imagine MM calling his first offensive meeting and calling role?

The Cowboys are in "offseason" mode. That means the players are on their own. No OTAs are scheduled. The full coaching staff hasn't even been hired yet. Even though Dak is still under contract until March, he's not expected to be doing anything at the Star except maybe spending time in the weight room.

New NFL league year begins March 18
Offseason workout programs start in April
Rookie development and mini camps in May
Rookie preseason training camp in June
Training camp for all players in July

A simple phone call is all that’s need between Dak and McCarthy at this point. McCarthy and his staff should be doing nothing but watching tape at this point
