With only 6 picks not sure every position gets covered,no OLB for this draft we need to sign a FA OLB.

1-Curtis Weaver DE Boise State

Reason-Robert Quinn is a free agent and truthfully he is a mercenary,. He plays where the money is and no team loyalty. Can't trust Randy Gregory.I don't think Dorance Armstrong is a starter in the NFL,and Joe Jackson is somewhat stiff...Weaver could be the RDE by 2020s midseason to end.

2-Brycen Hopkins TE Purdue

Reason-The more I see of this guy he looks like he really could be a special player . Not hyped like other TEs but this guy looks like the real deal. We need to put Jason Witten out in the pasture and cannot trust Blake Jarwin will step up to be the TE we need.

3-Jason Strowbridge DT North Carolina

Reason-Kept looking for a good DT after the top tier and it is slim pickings. Most DTs were in the 2019 Draft. Strowbridge plays DE ,but he is 6'-5",285 lbs. Add10-15 lbs and he is a DT. With the speed we need to cause chaos in the trenches to penetrate in the middle.

4-Douglas Coleman S Texas Tech

Reason-We need a ballhawk.Xavier Woods is a solid player, but doesn't offer much of being a ballhawk. Coleman is a surprise this season. He has 8 INTs and is a perfect centerfielder to help get us the ball.

5-Meiko Dotson CB Florida Atlantic

Reason-Most likely we lose Byron Jones and Anthony Brown & Jourdan Lewis battle for Jones's starting spot, but we need a possible another challenger. Dotson led the FBS with 9 INTs and is not well known and he could slip into the later rounds of the draft. If he is there,GET HIM!!!. One year at Florida Atlantic he got 9 INTs.Dotson was at Garden City Community College the year before and only played 8 games but got 4 INTs before transferring to Florida Atlantic. 13 INTs in less than 2 seasons? Give him a chance.

7-Cameron Bell(6'-8",330 lbs)OT Toledo(#58 Left Tackle)

Reason-We need a insurance policy as a backup OT. Bell is huge but watching him he has good feet so that means he has some athletic ability and not a Frankenstein statue. Bell could battle for both OT spots. I am not expecting a superstar in the 7th round, but Bell has potential to become a solid depth NFL player.

I think these players will be there in these rounds when we select them. Not just looking for the top dogs and saying "Yeah Derrick Brown DT Auburn will be there in the 3rd round for the Cowboys". NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!

Strowbridge weighed in @ 267 down at the Senior Bowl. Don’t see him as an IDL at this point.
Great!!! :( He probably is trying to slim down to become faster for the Combine .Staying at DE,but I hope for him to become a surprise at DT vs all the big names.

There’s more pressing issues at DT and CB. Whichever one isnt addressed in FA is probably the pick at 17

I think you undersell the need at DE. It's pressing. You have one legitimate DE under contract - Lawrence. Armstrong is looking like a JAG/backup type. Gregory is an unknown. Quinn and Bennett are FAs and Quinn might get a big contract and Bennett might just want to bow out.

So DE should absolutely be on the table at 17. Its bizarre people think DE isn't a need given the status of every DE on the roster not named Lawrence.

I just am not sure Weaver is the DE you should take at 17. Seems like a reach.

Don't believe all the top Draftniks and sports media PR hype. Pat Mahomes was suppose to a be a 4th or 5th rounder and and starting rising just the week before the draft.

I never bought that.

@Aven8 pointed out Mahomes to me while he was still in college.. When I heard he was a tech QB I didn't think much of it.

Then I watched him and to me I saw the next Brett Favre with more mobility.

Mahomes had a lot of careless moments with the football in college but Andy Reid got that out of him pretty quick. He's currently a perfect QB and probably the best talent the NFL has seen at that position.

I think Yetur Gross-Matos will be gone and it comes down to Weaver vs Espenasa IMO. We like Boise State players and Lawrence probably would do everything to help Weaver become a starter opposite him ,putting him under his wing.

Yet it will give those pass rushers drafted with big contracts and become starters.

In the pros.

What they do in college doesn't always translate. I will be very surprised if Weaver is a first round pick.

Chaisson is a better prospect than Weaver and he could very well be on the board.

Weaver would be a real reach.

I like doubling up on the DL with the first 3 picks. Stowbridge in the 3rd would be a great pick. I’m still holding hope that Kinlaw/Chaisson/Brown is there at 17. More QBs taken ahead of us would be promising
