I understand and agree.

And I agree Dak had to be the dominating conversation . I’d assume if you wanted the Cowboys job you needed to agree with Jerry about Dak.
Probably
But to be honest going into last year I wasn’t sold on Dak
But what I want from any player is to continue to grow as a player and he did
If I’m MM I’d rather build off that than start over at QB

So we’re not signing Dak? It’s always the opposite with the Jonses...

lol.. Dude we didn't make the playoffs with a healthy team and couldn't do squat against top 10 defenses. You need to open your eyes.

No TD's against Philly lol..
You conveniently forgot to mention that the team was coached by a dysfunctional and sub-par coaching staff and that Dak took 2 pain killing shots (one before the game and one during half time) to address his partially torn ligament in his THROWING SHOULDER.

We have more then 1 year to go off of.

Dak doesn't enhance talent. He's just another guy out there facilitating the offense.

He has special intangibles but he is a mediocre player. It's obvious.

but yet they are holding their ground haggling over 4mil difference.. they offered 32/33 dak wants 36.. if hes their future all along whats the holdup?if this was THEIR Guy with NO Doubt, it would have been done last off season..

Ill tell you what it is they know 32/33 is fair and already high for Dak and dont want to overpay.. hes not in the top 5 money, he should have jumped on the last offers..

dont believe jerrys emotional responses., its still a business..getting Dak under 33 is smart business..

IMO I would hold at the last offer and not budge..pan accordingly for the FT and dak holding out..

The more the Joneses keep coming out and belaboring the point, the more I think this is a smoke screen and they’re going in another direction.

On cue here come the Romo references for some reason, sad and really pathetic, Romo doesn't play anymore, whats your point, you need professional help.
I didn't bring up Romo. Another Dak hater did! I simply responded with video facts.

No amount of professional help could ever help you. You're just a snowflake. Melt away and disappear for good.

Nobody is sayin Dak dosent have faults or there are not things he needs to work on . But Dak is not this teams problem . He was one of the few bright spots this year that actually improved his game while the majority regressed and lacked the effort needed .
Dak wasnt taking himself out of games in important moments ,he was straight arming guys into the ground to the very end trying to win . Dak didnt drop 7 balls against the Eagles or wait till the season was shot to finally figure out the kicker was costing us games .
Yes you are correct we need a defense or at least the one we have to play with effort and try to tackle . Agreed Dak is not close to Mahomes and neither is any QB in the league .

Sorry but Im tired of a small minded group using Dak as the scapegoat for all the things wrong with this team just because he is unable to overcome it all single handed . Dak did his job this year along with a very few other players . We now have a coach that will demand that everyone else do their jobs . Watch things improve in a big way
Dak did not play well against the e-gals. Yeah there were 7 drops but there were a lot of his passes that were overthrown, into the dirt, and behind receivers. All of the receivers didn't decide to suck at one time. He was trying to do too much and made some really bad decisions on his reads. I don't think that anyone is trying use him as a scapegoat. No one is saying that he is the only problem with the team but to say that he wasn't a problem at all is incorrect.

Notice that I said CARRY them to the SB. Dak proved that he isn't carrying this team anywhere.

The notion that a QB can "CARRY" a team to a SB title is mythology. One could argue Elway almost did that in the late 80s, only to see his team destroyed in each SB.

Elway won his SBs on the back end of his career, with less talent than he had when he was losing them. Why? Terrell Davis and a solid defense.

Peyton Manning had one of his best seasons in 2013. They got killed in the SB. He got a ring a couple years later playing the worst football of his career. Why? Defense.

Wouldn't it be nice if this follow the ball GM was as focused on the D side of the ball? I wonder if he understands why the Niners are in the SB? Or why the Patriots are always in the mix?

I 100% agree. Dak threw for over 4K and they go 8-8. Mahomes brought the Chiefs back 2 weeks in a row from double digit deficits while the Cowboys didn't a single game where they were down at the half this season. I would say that Mahomes is kinda carrying his team right now. I'm saying that Dak throwing for 4K isn't gonna get them there. Winston also threw for over 4K...

Salary Cap issues will strangle the franchise.
Again.
But at least Garrett is gone.
Jerry seems intent on doing everything the wrong way at least once.

Romo is your go to crutch after Troll or Hater (just like above) I'm beginning to think think you are the troll, as for snowflake (a new word for you, but), looks like another word you do not understand the meaning of just like groupie. Try to remember Romo means nothing any more and we all know now Troy was just a jag. Do us all a favor give us a break from your Dak love fantasy for a few weeks.

Just imagine if they had taken Deforest Buckner in the 1st and Henry in the 2nd or took Zeke but Chris Jones(DT) in the 2nd instead of the swiping gimp. I like Malik Collins but he isn't on Buckner or Chris Jones level.

Dak is the future because he’s a great QB. Open your eyes and quit listening to the National media talking heads and the trolls here.
I thought you said all experts said Dak is the guy. Who are you referring to as a talking head and why do you not like them? And why do you assume I'm listening to any of them? I believe I already told you before I don't listen to most sports related news (that somehow the convo is about Dak lol) and form my opinion by what i see on the field.

I have no attachment to Dak, I have no reason to dislike him as a person. Based on what i see on the field he's an average guy that can easily be replaced in the draft with the offensive talent we have. Sure we can draft and miss but we'll still get very similar output. Or we can draft and hit and transform this offense into one of the greatest all time.

The cowboys and dak blew their best opportunity on his rookie deal, it's only going to get worse if he gets paid. So far they've proven me right. 4 years wasted impeding traffic in the passing lane. Their actions this year and going forward will tell me if they've actually been aware of their ignorance. We've done some right with MM, but that's just the first step.
