You’re talking about consistency and he hasn’t even run behind an O line ranked outside of the top 10 in run blocking. Give him the Giants O line and let’s see how “consistent” he is. RB is the most expendable position in football and dummy Jerrah just paid one of the biggest mouth breathing idiots to ever play the game the most money for that position. What games would we have lost without him? Answer....ZERO!
That’s true. It wasn’t just Dak that couldn’t beat the good teams. The best RB I’m football just couldn’t carry the team against good defenses and/or teams with a winning record.

Yeah, and I forgot about Brieda also. They are paying 4 backs.

Breida, Wilson, Mostert, Coleman are the 4 backs playing this year. Those guys are getting paid 7.7 million in salary.

Give me those 4 backs and an extra 8 million in salary over one back in Zeke.

Classic RB by committee over one overpaid high end back.

McKinnon was the overpaid back mistake they are paying for right now. I am sure they wont make that mistake again.

Amazing how the narrative was..............The offense runs through Zeke. Zeke is the straw that stirs the offense. But now that Zeke is laying turds, its all Dak's fault. LOL

Its Dak and his offense that cant win games or play well against good defenses. Zeke gets no mention at all. Even though he folds like a cheap suit in those games.

Narratives...they are so simple to create.

All I did was look at the surface.

Tevin Coleman was 2 yrs 10 million
Jerrick McKinnon 4 yrs 30 million
Matt Brieda 3 yrs 1.66 million
Mostert. 3 yrs 8.7 million
Jeff Wilson. 2 yr . 1.208 million

Those are all the RB contracts.

2019 cap hits
Coleman cap hit 3.568
McKinnon cap hit 5.75
Mostert cap hit 1.98
Brieda. Approx .5
Wilson. Approx. .5

Totals about 12 million off the top of my head.

If we are only going by 2019 cap hit Zekes was
6.339

These people will never get it. They really expect all of those players on the 49ers, Chiefs, Titans, etc... to just sit around and play for peanuts forever? Atlanta, paid Freeman, and lost Coleman. Coleman, Mostert, and Brieda, are going to want more money. Stupidity among Cowboy fans is a state of perpetuity.

They just didn't start paying players in the 2000's. And the Cowboys know what they are doing, and how to do it, without the help of couch minions. Romo was paid $108 million dollars in 2013. Why are you having such a hard time with Dak being paid? It can't be the lack of championships, because Romo didn't sniff not one. TD's, yardage, leadership?

Im not sure if you intended to ask me why I have such a hard time with Dak being paid, but to be clear I dont have a hard time with Dak being paid. Although Id like to franchise him and see the results under MM I wouldn't necessarily be upset if we signed him long term.

Hey, didn't you know you have to take a side and either declare Dak as the most horrific thing like ever or scream that he makes Joe Montana look like a pop warner QB?

Why would you not count Pollard in those numbers?

Yeah I learned that here. You need to speak in absolutes and there is no middle ground.

Yep. And Mostert is a shining example of why you don't break the bank for running backs anymore. A good coach, gameplan, OL, and great run blocking TE and you're golden.

All your doing is changing the argument to suit your agenda.

the question was zeke or mostert. Take mostert and his salary all day.

no one here would sign or take McKinnon at that price so his salary is irrelevant to the conversation.

Im not sure where you got all that from. My original post was regarding who was getting more value at the RB position.

Someone posted the 49ers were getting more value and I responded with what the 49ers are actually paying at the position. That includes all of their RBS. You dont get to just throw out the mistakes.

Your whole response is bizarre to me, I dont even recall debating or arguing with anyone on this thread so Im not sure why your coming at me. Lol

To be fair, Mostert and Coleman combine to make about half what Zeke makes. Just sayin.....
