Leon Lett is remaining as the Cowboys assistant defensive line coach, working with Jim Tomsula. He is the third holdover from Jason Garrett’s staff with Kellen Moore (offensive coordinator) and Doug Nussmeier (quarterbacks).

If Edwards gets hired, that will make almost as many coaches on defense as players we currently have under contract, right?

I am ok with him as an assistant. I did not like the set up they had under Garrett and Marinelli.
They never really developed any DT's, but then again they never drafted anyone for them to work with.

19 under contract including the 3 on Reserves / Futures contacts. Plus an ERFA and a RFA.

I'm happy for him. I'll cheer this signing, however, when he turns Tristen Hill into Big Cat II.
