If he helps the team win a Superbowl then I am all for it. He has heart, great in the redzone and a veteran. Dez would be a great redzone threat and a chain mover. Heck, I bet he would have better numbers than Witten.

I am all for bringing Dez back. Screw Garrett.

I agree, at least Dez has some fire and cares. Looking at the games, there's not a lot of emotion on the sidelines, particularly when the team is not playing well. In that Eagles game, Cooper was on the sideline looking like his stomach hurt or something. Dak was off to himself looking at the IPad but musta learned nothing cuz he played no better when going back on the field. No communication or adjustments from the coaches...everybody looking like they want to get their check and go home smh. Dez would be hard to stop at tight end

Notice how he isn’t running routes? Lol. All kidding aside I loved me some Dez. He was one of my all time favourite players. I always defended him when his sideline antics were on full display. But unless he has learned how to be more technical with his route running he won’t succeed now. He’s too long out of the league and his athleticism is not even close to what it once was. However I would like to see him come into training camp. Lord knows this team could use a fire and some passion in that locker room.

Hell, I bet many of us could do that with the new NFL glue glove
It's not like he's leaving the star with a contract:D

Nah Dez.. You want to win too badly.. We don't like that kind of passion around here.

We have no problem bringing back Witten but bringing back Dez is a no no.
Wasnt Witten seen yelling at the sideline and at the coaches this year also? And even Tfred after that Zeke call against the Vikings.. was anything said about that here ? no.. oh ok

The dez tight end thing is silly but he can def play in the slot.

Just let him try out.. That's all I want.

If he is no good in TC and Pre-season then cut him but the dude is one of the all time greats for this team and deserves better. That did not end on good terms at all.

How on earth they can give Jason Witten a big press conference when he retires and just kick Dez out the door 3 or 4 months into Free Agency is beyond me.

Id be happy to have him back.
don't know if they will.
but atleast being a Cowboy MATTERS to him.
it seems deeply personal to him.
we need some of that.

Because he was a cancer in the locker room. It was on display many times how childish he acted during team meetings and how he got into coaches faces in a wrong way. I like his passion for the game and yes he holds a lot of records and played great for this team but do I want him back? No.

What other guy acts like he wants to lead
Taco. :lmao2:. Actually after he went to the fins he had as many sacks as D-Law. And one of them was on Dak.

opps wrong thread, thought we were talking about the hotboyz. No one on the WR have enough time in. But these new players will see Dez as a older player but not there as long as the new guys even though he has been playing there longer.
