He's had 5 seasons over 1000 yards out of 6. Why is 1200 yards the magical#?
because thomas had over 1700 and julio near near 1400 I believe JJ has had a lot of those and what close to 2k one year..thats elite the top 5 all over 1200 and didnt fall off the grid the last 7 games..

when you wan to be paid like the big boys you have to produce and hes tier 2 and should accept around 17 per year..

Because 1200 and higher is usually the starting point of the elite status and the elite accolades (pro bowl starter, NFL top 50, 1st or 2nd team All-Pro)

It's the equivalent of a 9-10 sack guy wanting 20 million when the 20 million players are those who have had seasons of 14 or higher

My face is now the same as Amari's after the gross direction this thread went...

Paying players that are barely above average like they are stars is what keeps us in a hole, Jerry. Don't do it.

I'd offer them top 15 if they want more, hit the door. Draft Colorado's WR Shenault in the first and Colorado's QB Montez in the second.

Then it is real, real easy. Just sign a contract. Don't be a pain in the butt, trying to get every penny you can. Now if money is really what he wants and doesn't care where he plays, then fine. But if you want to be a Cowboys, get it done and stop talking about it

I meant 17mil per season for 4 seasons..thats good for his production as a 1 hes not anywhere close to a JJ or Thomas whos 18-20 ranges so its under 18 for AC tier..

IC, was referring to 8 of 16 games he’s produced in...

NO ONE? id say Gallup is right there waiting, Lewis is not abig drop off from Jones..the other are almost all role players outside of Dak..he can easily be FT not one but twice...

hes been around 25yrs in the nfl, he understands the business side and had an offseason to fix it..he should be focused on the defense and ST, offense only needs alittle massaging..he and that defensive staff needs to be at daily meetings about this..IMO anyway..
Lewis is a huge drop off from Jones. Not even close. Lewis has value, but he is not an outside starting CB.

Cooper played through injuries so other guys could make plays. We’ve seen him healthy, and he’s elite when healthy. Only those right with the team know if maybe he should have been in a suit for most of the second half.

I swear sometimes I feel like Jerry Jones doesn't deserve Dak & Amari. They are model citizens on and off the field. Play at a high level. Lead by example. Yet they have to wait to get paid while the knuckle heads get over paid

lost 3 games this year when the defense held the opponent to 17 points or less...

gotta win those and if they did Dallas would have had a home game in the playoffs. To Jerry that means a lot.
