Feels like as good a time as any to bring back this video.

I go into where Dez would line up in different formations and what he brings to the offense on any given play.

*Swap out Witten for Jarwin.

Now that Garrett’s gone, this might actually happen.

I feel like Cobb would be on his way out if Dez returned.

Or maybe Cooper gone? Been said by the FO many times now.. Cant sign everybody. Everyone assumes its gonna be Byron Jones let go and it might very well be. But they might think Gallup is ready to be the new #1 .... just throwing something out there.

Jones has said Cooper is a priority, I imagine they will resign him to justify giving up a first. I don't think Dez is coming back though, it will be relatively the same receiving group. Plus, I am sure McCarthy wants Cobb around more than Dez.

What route did he run before he got in the belly flop position???

They only need him to run the back-shoulder fade in the red-zone. That alone would be enough reason to bring him back. (And McCarthy KNOWS that Dez caught it, and the rule was wrong.)

The Star? They let him practice there?

I did the tour of the Star this season (finally - last few times I couldn’t get tickets, they sell out months in advance). One thing they pointed out was that the practice facility was open to both active players and ex-players. They pointed out that Charles Haley stops by regularly, for example.

So, either he made a mistake when he put the location OR he’s an ex-player taking advantage of the facility.

By the way, I just don’t get the hate on Dez by you Cowboys Zoners. He’s a Cowboy For Life. He bleeds blue, and he desperately wants back on this team. Isn’t that what we want? How many players walk for money and we blast them; here we have a player who lives and dies with this team and wants to wear the star, and you’re going to kill him for it?

Dez wants to be a situational player who scores red zone touchdowns. I see no problem with bringing him back to do that. If you follow the guy on twitter then you know he has been humbled. He had to step away from the game to get his mind right and he has done that.

I would welcome him back with open arms.

The Cowboys were 4th in the league in drops last year.

Gallup was second with 11 and Cobb tied for 6th with 8.
Don’t see how dez fixes is that. Which is why I said he almost led the league in drops. Don’t really understand your comment.

I have never hated on Dez. I will throw up the X for life. I just didn't know that former players are allowed to use the facility. Thanks for the info.
