"Assistant Defensive Line Coach"? If they are going to make a sentimental, makes us feel comfortable, hire this is about the right level, I guess.
He's just keeping the same job. Marinelli was the DL coach the whole time.

I dont think any of thats official until march..right now we still own the rights for them all until all the new 2020 business opens up..

the 19 under contract is official.
The ERFA and RFA will need to be offered a tender. Is they do not, then they become FA’s. If offered then I guess it is like the tags, they sign or don’t play.
The R/F players will either be released or be considered signed at that point I think.

Leon should have been LETT go in '93. All kidding aside, I'll never forget this. Lol, Pederson was the holder for Miami. Enjoy!

Leon Lett is remaining as the Cowboys assistant defensive line coach, working with Jim Tomsula. He is the third holdover from Jason Garrett’s staff with Kellen Moore (offensive coordinator) and Doug Nussmeier (quarterbacks).

I hope Leon is doing well, but I find it difficult to take Leon Biggest Screwups Ever Lett seriously as a coach. Dumb on the field. Dumb off the field.

I was watching the Hail Mary game on Youtube. It's funny. There never would have been a Hail Mary pass if Pat Donovan, a rookie at the time, doesn't do something really similar to gift the ball to the Vikings inside the Cowboys 5 in the first half.

David Irving, not Lett's fault the guy liked pot more than football and a check.

McCarthy may have very different feelings about Irving. Irving was a one man wrecking crew vs. McCarthy's ***** packers.

One play in an 11 year career doesn't define a guy who made several Pro Bowls as a player. Belichick is the GOAT and he actually got caught cheating as a coach, that is worse than one braincramp on the field.

If McCarthy is good with it, so am I.

I actually like the idea of some of these low level guys like Lett and Nussmeier staying on. If its an entirely new coaching staff players can blame things on the old staff, when you have a couple of guys who were in the meetings they can call BS on excuses.

Two plays. Ice Bowl "No Leon" and the Super Bowl Strip. Leon made it twice onto some Top Ten Blunders of NFL History video.

People forget Leon made crucial strip fumble tackles in Super Bowl 27 and 28 that were game changers, he was a hell of a player....his immaturity kept him from a HOF career.
