This is a very good hire.

Overall, I am very pleased with the staff McCarthy has put together. It's not perfect, but in it's entirety it's pretty good. Tons of experience, head coaching and otherwise.

You can tell Jerry has let McCarthy hire his own staff without his fingerprints all over it.

Hiring Edwards is a huge upgrade.

I think Nolan is a mistake.

Maybe seconds thoughts in Dallas about Nolan???

Everyone knows your opinion of him, no reason to state and restate and reiterate the statement on every single page of every single post.

Remember when Washington had two offensive coordinators and two defensive coordinators. That didn't work out so well. Might be a case where there are too many Chiefs and not enough ...er sailors.

I don't think I'd call it "second thoughts", especially when Nolan was McCarthy's very first hire and was saying goodbyes in New Orleans the second McCarthy was announced for the job. Remember, they're tight from their San Fran days when it was Nolan hiring McCarthy. I just think that they know a good coach when they see one and feel that you can never have too many good ones on staff. I see it as another plus.

I'm just excited they identify that the defense was a real problem for this team. Hopefully the ST situation is squared away with "Bones"...I mean, they could of hired me for the ST job and it would have been an upgrade from what was there.
