So you were against the Romo contract? If so, hooray. I'll buy you a beer someday. But at the same time, you're wrong about Dak. Badly. Dak is going to get paid, handsomely, because he's earned it, plus he's young, improved, highly durable, is a multiple threat and the franchise leader of this team. I don't agree with he getting more than $33 mil per, but the market is going to dictate he get paid a little higher than that per year, which he will receive.

You kinda don't get it do you. Take your stuff elsewhere. You've already shown me who you are. Keep your beer, I have my own........

Even if I don't always agree with you. You consistently make me laugh. This had me in stitches. I know it's dumb. Hey it's all about spin doctoring sometimes.

Who are you? Is this your thread? You're right. Not worth wasting a beer on you. Rather buy one for those who get IT.

I would transition tag Dak. If I remember correctly, that would give Dallas right to match. If so, can find out his "true" market value and at least not bidding against ourselves

Prescott has some of the best stats for a young QB ever so only a hater or troll would suggest anyone else on that list as an honest option.
It's honestly laughable to see the forum members and media alike whom parrot what other say negatively about prescott actually believing it as fact.
The guy can do it all and and is one hell of a leader. I'm implore anyone to think realistically for a second here! Most great players on our roster have
regressed under Howdy Doody, I mean look at dlaw and the defense as a whole! Prescott has potential to be one of the best this league has ever seen.
We are not laughable.

But Hillary probably would call us deplorables.

All of us cling to our sense of what is best for the team.

I also prefer to do what is best for me.

That being that McCarthy now get some commercials for the Kato diet. Him and Marie Osmand could do a great commercial together.

This is mostly ridiculous but my favorite part is how the Cowboys somehow lie and trick Keenum into signing for less than half of his market value and then pulling back the curtain and proclaim “GOTCHA! YOU’RE THE STARTING QB AND WE ROBBED YOU ON THE CONTRACT!!! TAKE THAT SUCKER (and here’s your playbook)
Why not! Commanders did it for the year. You seem to have some idea if you start your automatically getting 20mil.

Why does it gotta be this way. If you can't sign the guy for the price the team can afford, why then does it have to be Dak and why then is anybody who is in favor of finding the best possible option a hater or troll? I mean, how does that make any sense at all?
Anyone that calls someone a troll for not wanting to pay Dak big money wears a tampon. Bunch a dam sisses.

I mean, it's all a number's game right? If they are forced to pay 35, then they aren't in the playoffs because they can't afford the depth of talent all through the roster.

Just look at Seattle. When they had Wilson dirt cheap, they had a team that was threatening for the Super Bowl every year. Now, even with great QB play, they are going home because that team is too reliant on one player. That's what happens when you sink a large part of your cap into one position.

Meh, there are teams that are loaded with talent yet have a highly paid QB, Minnesota and New Orleans off the top of my head.

No, not anything to do with Keenum specifically, but rather your ridiculous and suggestion that any business would ever operate this way.

Your scenario is more like a 13 year old kid who wheedles and cajoles the girl down the street into agreeing to a kiss and then, when he tries for second base and gets slapped, cries and complains saying “Not Fair! You already said you would! No take backs!!!”

?I'm intrigued by Jameis Winston. It depends on one question: can you win today playing Seventies-style turnover-heavy football in this day and age? I would say this about it. The league is full of control freaks at coach and OC who want to play safe. So he's an outlier. And the way to get to the top is to be an outlier.
It’s an interesting turn of events when having a 1.38 TD/TO percentage is relabeled as an “outlier” instead of the more commonly used term “garbage”

Fanzones Publix Enemy #1, checks in with a top five percentage of 2.69.

The logic of your last couple of sentence reminds me of an old statistics scenario that goes something like this

The rate of shark attacks increases at the same
rate as ice cream sales. Ice cream causes shark attacks.
