There's nothing wrong with looking forward, out the windshield
instead of backward in the rear view mirror.

Some will enjoy pointing out it's an even numbered year, 2020.
If the recent pattern continues, it will put Dallas in the playoffs,
giving them an opportunity the get hot and win the tournament.
(as Parcells calls it)

Personally, I'm just looking forward to beating a team outside of the
NFC East with a winning record.

Generally, the fans wanted change. Change has happened.
I'm not sure why it's a problem to get excited about it.
Now, I'm not jumping on the SB prediction but I do expect the
Cowboys to be in the conversation as one of the top teams in the NFC.

Wish I could be that optimistic. But I'm believing the opposite and we will win 5-7 games. Not believing anymore hype untill I see it vs real games.

The odds are always steep against any team going to the SB, especially an 8-8 team with a terrible defense and new coaching staff.

That said, I’ll never understand the fans who say the season means nothing without a SB, just a waste of another year and talent. Those same fans always poopoo our chances of being a SB team each year.

So, my question is, if certain fans believe anything but a SB appearance is a wasted season and that the Cowboys are not going to the SB anytime soon, why do they visit this site every day, in season and out, just to spew negativity or realism, as they prefer to spin it. What’s the point?
