Honest/serious question.......if you look at the HOFers or players from this list likely to get it, you think Romo gets in .......SOME DAY?
I don't like his chances. That's why I called him the Ken Anderson of the 21st century. Anderson should have been in the HOF decades ago, but he was perceived as lacking in some way early on, and that kind of perception creates its own momentum.

How many of those wins were against teams with a winning record? That is a big stat around here recently.

from 2006 - 2014 we were 23-36 against teams with a winning record. Romp's stats against winning teams: 5th in the NFL with a 90.1 rating. 4th in yds, 2nd in TDs, 3rd in comp percentage and 24th in INTs.

This is VERY disingenuous

Unbelievably so

For starters (but just tip of iceberg) you left out 2014 entirely
I honestly left out 2014 by mistake...either way

Romo 14 2nd Playoff Win
Romo 14 Aaron dominance begins

Thanks. Just curious, what criteria are you using to determine winning record....winning record at season end or winning record at time played?

Final winning season record. I used Pro Football Reference's Team Game finder. It may be possible to use winning record at time of game in the query. Personally I prefer end of season record as it gives a better perspective of the opponent over a full season.

He had a good defense several years and did nothing. Time to move on. His place is cemented behind Danny White.
You mean Danny White will be firmly cemented in his seat at AT&T when Romo goes into the Ring of Honor. Try again troll.

Danny White didn’t take his team anywhere, he was a supporting player who performed worse in the playoffs than he did in the regular season. Stop pretending that you know anything about football, you’re just a troll who plays Madden. Maybe you and Danny can hang around after Tony’s name goes up and spray paint his name on the Ring before anyone notices.

Troll that plays Madden? Lol. Pretending? Ok, thanks Mrs.Romo. I would like to think I know a little about football since I did play in college but I never try to come off as pretentious know it all *** like you do in most of your posts.

We were 3-0 at one point last season.

Interesting statistic. I think it works in giving an overall picture, but like with any statistic, it can sometimes be misleading. Take the 2007 Giants for example. I know they had some early season injuries on the defense, but come playoff time that defense was playing at an elite level yet statistically they are below 16th in points allowed. Making it appear that Eli won a SB with a sub par defense.

The 2016 Cowboys. That was not a good defense. They were hidden by a potent ball control offense. That D was every bit as bad as the 2014 team who BTW also came in at better than 16th for the exact same reason.

It's too bad our elite-looking offense was falling apart at the same time. Owens was pretty much a decoy because of injury. Glenn was attempting to come back from being out all season. And that left Patrick Crayton to essentially be our No. 1 receiver. We tried to rely on the running game, but the Giants figured out how to stop it in the second half and also used quickness to beat our powerful offensive line and get pressure on Romo.

That was my point.
He literally threw the should've been game winner the play before.
Perfect pass to the end zone for the winner, but Crayton pulled up.
Then with no timeouts, 4th down, and time up, he had to force it into the end zone for that play that You choose to remember.

Same goes for the non QB, special teams blunder in 2006.
Not even a QB play...which was the discussion.
