Jaylon is the only physical LB we have and he destroys at the point of contact....since day one even when he was still wearing the brace. Watch your team more.

You couldn’t have picked a more ironic aspect of Jaylon’s game to try and flip on its head and claim is his strength.

He has no taste for taking on blocks or being physical at the point of attack, loool.

Zero.

Watch how heywood blasts through those bags and Jaylon is struggling with one. He doesn’t have any power.

Watch it and tell me I’m wrong.

I don’t think power is the issue at all. He routinely blows guys up. Whenever he draws a bead on someone they go down. I think his issue continues to be between the ears. Like his crap technique on the field it looked like he was grabbing that bag high and being too vertical. Plus the guy is a goof ball. He has no dawg in him at all. All Hollywood and flash. Guys here keep saying he is not healthy. I don’t think there is anything wrong with him physically. It is all mental and desire to be a great LB.

To be fair, Heyward is a 295 lb defensive lineman whose job it is to push against heavy offensive lineman all day long. Jaylon's job is to make contact and shed the block, not drive the blocker backwards.

That being said, he needs to be better next year. His problem is patience, he sees the flow and attacks, but when the play is a counter his attacking takes him out of the play. He needs to be patient, shed blocks, then attack.

Should they just use him on passing downs?

Here’s Jaylon “Destroyer of O-Linemen” throwing Vikings out of his way to make the stop.

Here’s Jaylon giving maximum effort and denying the QB the score!

You're possibly wrong for these reasons bro. Rewatch the tape. Heyword blasted through those bags due to grabbing the first bag up high and allowing his body to better leverage the bag forward, thus allowing the bag to slide much easier along the rails up above. Jaylon made the mistake of grabbing the first bag much lower, hence it drastically hurt his leverage ability and thus resulted in the bag to struggle badly to roll along the rails up above. This explains why it seems Jaylon has lesser power, which might not be true. All falls on technique, height and the angle you grab the first bag which determines how much leverage you are thus able to accumulate since those bags hang from and run on rails up above.

Cmon bro

He does it every week. I actually watched a vid this morning on a break down of Jaylon and his game. During that break down they showed him DESTROYING a OL. So back to my original point....take the time to really watch your team.

Feel free to share that video and time stamps of him “destroying offensive linemen.”

What do you gain by just making stuff up?

Others have shown video evidence that refute your claims. You may want to present some that support your claims. Because without it, your arguments are bordering on homerism.

google and youtube is free you can look it up yourself or you can just watch the games more than once. Our LBs were not used correctly by Kris. The FACT that he still made the probowl despite not being put in position to succeed tells the type of player Jaylon is. With Kris out and now having defensive coaches that believe in putting our players in position to be successful instead of trying to make players fit a scheme should only take Jaylon to even another level.

Usually if you are making the claim...and even admit you were "watching videos"..it's your responsibility to cite them...not make other people go look for YOUR claims. It also puts people on the same page, looking at the same thing. Post your videos.
