Yes and no.

The OL didn't solidfy until we drafted Frederick in 13.

Eli had great lines during his two super bowl years.

Never paid attention to GB's OL's, so I don't know.
Eli's Super bowls were won on the back of their defensive line and getting hot at the right time.

A kindergartner who conveniently decided that the 27-12 record from 2006-2008 didn’t need to be accounted for. OP is a troll.
true it was flawed in every way

you dont get to 248 Tds 117ints , 35k yards, a 78-49 record with 24 comebacks and 29 game winning drives and own almost all of the DC records

but like some said time to get past this Tonys gone and daks here for now..no need to start these posts especially with bad info..

Even if we argue that Romo was mediocre, who cares? He's gone. Done. Over.

And along those lines, if we believe Romo failed, does that excuse Dak? The question is whether we should pay Dak upwards of 40 million per season; elite QB money. You don't pay that kind of money when you have to trade a 1st round pick for a WR because your QB can't make anyone around him better. He needs a top notch OL, RB and WR. All that is a luxury and just not affordable year in and year out. He can't consistently carry this team when the chips are down. And we're home for the playoffs and SB and want to argue if this guy is an elite talent. Please....give me a break.
These pro Dak people always trying to mention Romo when Romo hasn’t been here in years. I guess their football bae can’t measure up without having to mention Romo all the time. That sounds like a indictment on Daks talent if he can’t be better than average (what he actually is) on his own merit. I guess that’s why we also always get he’s a leader and other junk that doesn’t have anything to do with actual qb throwing talent.

When the owner/GM dictates and hires your OC (Garrett), BEFORE you’re officially hired as HC (Wade) — publicly proclaiming the OC as “HC-in-waiting” — you were definitely sabotaged...

...but it wasn’t by the OC.
Well.....technically didn’t we just do the same thing with Kellen Moore?

This is unarguably the best offensive cast of players around a Quarterback since 1995. Trying to compare Romos offensive team to Dakotas reeks of desperation.......and the OP is better than this
The OP isn’t better than this though. He’s a Dak groupie that was upset about a thread from earlier today so wasted his time to look for something to talk about Romo like Romo is still here. Why can’t we talk about the current junk qb without the Dak groupies needing to get into a Delorean to find ways to cape for Andy Dalton of the Star?

All of this crapola coming from someone who has a pic of Dak as his handle?

Troll

That’s a great comment. I appreciate your feedback and back and forth on the subject.

What are you, an immature child living in mommy’s basement that you can’t respond in an articulate way when you disagree?

People like you have brought the intellectual level of this board down the toilet. Child....

Not the same.

Moore, although shamelessly fast-tracked, was a promotion from within.

Garrett was hired off Miami’s staff.

Also...never heard any HC-I-W anointing of Moore.

That’s what was told to us. Has that been proven as fact? This organization is known to lie.
Of course.

However, the proof is in the puddin'. Basically, McC has been given what looks like complete freedom to form his own staff. The ONLY holdover is Moore(as far as I know). Moore proved last season that he is an incredible football mind. Yes, he made some mistakes, and has a ways to go as an OC(Shouldn't have been promoted yet), but at the same time he also showed flashes of brilliance.

Put yourself in McC's shoes. A brilliant kid who only needs two things, seasoning and some help from an experience O guy. Why in the world wouldn't you keep him? I guarantee, if McC was asked to keep Mo, it was not a hard sell at all.

(On a side note, what in hades does "the proof is in the puddin" even mean?!!!!!)
