Jim Plunkett says you are majorly wrong.

Jim Plunkett never made the all time Super Bowl throws that Eli did and Jim Plunkett never won a Super Bowl MVP award.

How about locking down his man the majority of the time? He's not elite, but he is a great man to man corner and you don't just replace those with bargain bin shopping in FA.
Same to be said about Amari, both want elite money and who changes more games?

I can’t point to a good reason why but I just don’t trust Cooper. Seems like a guy you’ll regret paying in the long run.

"Byron Jones or Amari Cooper?"

I'll take Jones

Amari just plain drops too many passes and is not a possession WR like the those pulling top $s

Jones is a prototype RCB

Ah, changing the parameters, I see. That's what happens when you make a statement that is proven incorrect. Try to save face.

No, it's not the same with Amari. You can win in this league without an inconsistent WR lol

You don't win anything meaningful with scrubs and average DBs.

Giants won a super bowl w/ average CB's. KC's corners are average. Pretty sure Philly's were pretty average also.

Now if you meant to say scrubs and average all over the D, I'd completely agree!!!!

I’m giving you the facts, Jim Plunkett was not in the same category as Eli not even close! Eli was much better during the regular season and postseason check the numbers! A majority of Plunkett’s career was bad in New England. Pluckett never even passed for 3000 yards in a season. Just over 2900 was his career best. He never even threw for more than 20 TD’s.

You got that right :muttley:
For the life of me I cannot fathom how anyone considers Eli HOF worthy. He's not even close. Rivers was better. Romo was considered better for most of their careers. Not sure that Matt Ryan isn't better. Stafford prolly is.

No, they didn't. They had a pro-bowl safety and a first round corner as well, both of which played at high levels.

I hear you, it’s a good point. Just don’t believe Byron deserves elite money because we’re afraid of the alternative. I believe the FO is thinking the same.

No, you declared that Eli being 2-0 in the super bowl was enough to get him in. It is not. And now you're just digging a deeper hole w/ blather.

So, if Flacco's pass to Lee in the end zone doesn't get dropped and Flacco wins 2 super bowls in a row, you'd put Flacco in?

CORNERS. I know their S's were good. Their CB's were like off the street.

Actually, I meant corner. They had a first round corner when they won their first Super Bowl.

They also had Corey Webster, who was a good corner that played his entire career with the Giants. He shut down Owens and caused turnovers in the playoffs.

I declared more than that you left out some things just to argue. I’ve become bored proving you guys wrong. I have all three of you flopping around like fish. Not wasting anymore time with fans who don’t know anything about football and are just looking for things to argue about.
