It more so came when Dak took his job. Or when Garrett gave it to him. Which ever you feel happened. The year Dak took over a lot of fans turned on him when they didn't put Romo back in once he was healthy.

I'll give it shot. What "headaches" are Dak costing this team? Because the headaches last season was coaching, defense and special teams. So which one was Dak apart of?

They got better and older. There were a lot of young players who played lights out in 2007. Romo got better, Ware got better, Ratliff, Barber, etc.

He did do that but to me, that was more of an immediate cap relief but a prolonged continuation of the actual problem. It kept us out of an out of control dumpster fire but the dumpster was still on fire, to many times. LOL......

And the feelings is mutual. We don't agree. Who wants to sit up on a site and agree with people all day? We debate/discuss and it never resorts to name calling.

People assume that's what I do because they see me go at the other trolls but mind you there's guys here who resort to childish-like attacks and I give them exactly what they want. I know who the trolls on this site are and who aren't.

Oh, absolutely. Contracts were a problem in general. I just don't believe Romo's contract was ever a problem.

When he signed for a huge contract, people don't remember the details. That was actually a renegotiation that Jerry had to have to get under the cap. Plus, it included years where his salary was really low, so even though the spewers were yelling that, Romo's contract wasn't that bad.

A valid question. While Dak didn't carry the whole team on his back, I don't know what headaches he's caused. I do think 40 mil is too much, and will deprive him of some of what he needs around him to help the team.

I don't think it helped. As to the advantage of the years his salary was "low", I'm also not so sure about that. I mean, yeah there were years he was reasonable perhaps but there were also years where he didn't play and got paid a lot of money for no production. There were years we just carried his cap hit forward after he retired. I mean, I don't think it was all that much of a great deal for us. But it's done now and I hope that we have learned from the past.

Aye....he just has to keep getting better like he has been. He does that and the 30-35 million dollar investment will be worth it. If he gets worse? That will be a problem.
