Dang, so much GREATNESS and no new contract to date for Dak.
The Dak-Trolls are out in full force once again and baby their desperation is showing big time!!!

I'm not a troll Dog, my favorite player is Prescott for what he does on and off the field... Believe it or not there are many critics out there that love Dak just as I do, so you might want to hold em up bro...

It’s amazing to me that there are still people who question whether he can lead this team into the future. Let me give you the short answer: He certainly can. He damn near threw for 5,000 yards this season and had 30 touchdowns. I guess the expectations surrounding the position, and maybe some frustration over missing the playoffs, are probably fueling the Dak doubt. But let me tell you, as a fan of a Bears team that has struggled to get it right at the quarterback position for years, the Cowboys are set. So please stop questioning him.

It amazes me too. The silver lining is that you know those that crap on Dak are absolutely clueless about football.

These days there is an award for almost anything every one is a winner even for just wearing a jersey .
as for Dak it is just a consolation prize which adds nothing to the Cowboys.

Most Dak trolls don't hate Dak. They just hate the love he is given and/or his upcoming contract. Dak trolls are Cowboys fans first and will root for the team no matter who's under center. I understand both the love and dislike Dak gets, but you can't call a guy a hero if his team didn't make the playoffs. JMO.

DLaw was playing hard, he just wasn't getting to the QB....but not for lack of effort.

It's just one of those seasons for a DE. Even elite DE's have seasons where their sack totals are down for whatever reason. I wouldn't be surprised if D-Law gets 10+ sacks next year.

Oh, Romo had a top 5 offensive line, Cooper, Cobb, and Gallup and Zeke as weapons?

Show me a time Romo had talent compared to that and then show me his W/L record against good teams.

Jesus...you guys are just naming names...to name names...That WR group is good for about top 12 in the NFL...Cooper was acquired for a 1st round pick last year...If Cooper was nearly as elite as you would have us to believe he wouldn't even have been available. Cobb? Really? And second year Gallup? If this was Romo you would say that Gallup is a product of Romo.

Just stop.

And Romo had T.O., Dez, and Jason Witten for the entirety of his career in their primes.

Well the media was pretty consistent. They felt we had talent but the coaching was bad. Most considered us talented but a 9-7 team because of coaching. They were right.

I think you're in the wrong thread.

I think you just try to desperately argue with anyone here, and you fail more often than not.

Most of the media outside of DFW never suggested the coaching was bad, though they acknowledged the end was probably near for Garrett. ESPN and the like always posed the question "how is a team as talented as they are struggling so much?" Yes, it was a matter of coaching, and it was a matter of players being overrated.

This is idiotic. Please, name me the better WR groups in the NFL. Show me the amount of teams with two 1,000 yard receivers, Cobb had 800 yards himself. Just because a player was available =/= bad

Romo had T.O for 2 full seasons. Also, "HURR DURR JUST NAMING NAMES" - like Cooper isn't known league wide and Gallup didn't play well this year.

Romo didn't have Owens, Dez, and Witten all together on the same field at the same time, genius.

NEXT!

What a joke. Unsung hero?

Dak flopped against winning teams and put up an epic **** show in the eagles game when it mattered the most.

Why you simply can't look at raw numbers like this writer did

You're exactly right. Cooper was considered a bum in Oakland......Gallup was a 3rd round pick and everyone wanted us to take Ridey, Sutten, among others. Randall Cobb was finished. But now since they look good with Dak they are the best in the league.....that's crazy.

I think you just try to desperately argue with anyone here, and you fail more often than not.

You think I try to desperately argue with anyone here? That's a new one. Sorry you feel that way. I guess I should just agree with everyone to agree so no one will get offended so I can prevent arguments from happening. Or maybe I should post like you want me to? Help me fix this problem that I have so I can make you guys feel more comfortable. What do you think I should do?
