Dude you did nothing but talk about the media and what they thought in the post I replied to. What the hell is wrong with you?

Talking about what the media believes has nothing to do with what I believe...especially when I actually state that I don't care what the media thinks. I know you play the resident fool, but you can't be that dense. It has to be for show.

Why do you feel the need to keep insulting me? Grow up.

This is idiotic. Please, name me the better WR groups in the NFL. Show me the amount of teams with two 1,000 yard receivers, Cobb had 800 yards himself. Just because a player was available =/= bad

Romo had T.O for 2 full seasons. Also, "HURR DURR JUST NAMING NAMES" - like Cooper isn't known league wide and Gallup didn't play well this year.

Romo didn't have Owens, Dez, and Witten all together on the same field at the same time, genius.

NEXT!

NO, ATL,TB, KC, LAC, LAR, CLE, HOU, MIN are ALL teams that have a better pass catchers than Dallas had last year. Then there is SEA AND SF...

There is no question Dallas pass catchers are better than any other team in the NFL tho.

So Dallas is anywhere from 10th to 12th in this category.

New Orleans has Michael Thomas...and that's about it
Atlanta has Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley
Tampa Bay has Mike Evans, Godwin, Perriman
Kansas City has Hill, Watkins, and Kelce
LAC has Keenan Allen and Mike Williams
Los Angels Rams has Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods
LOOOOOOOOL Cleveland, did you actually watch their games?
Houston has Hopkins and an injury prone Fuller
Minnesota has Thielen, Diggs, and Rudolph

So, out of those you have the Bucs, Chiefs, and Minnesota that are better. We are on par with Rams. Let's go ahead and use your dopey words as being better- here are the Rams pass catchers numbers that are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better?

Cooper Kupp - 94 catches, 1161 yards, 10 TDs
Robert Woods - 90 catches, 1,134 yards, 2 TDs
Brandin Cooks - 42 catches, 583 yards, 2 TDs

Dallas Cowboys

Amari Cooper - 79 catches, 1,189 yards, 8 TDs
Michael Gallup - 66 catches, 1.107 yards, 6 TDs
Randall Cobb - 55 catches, 828 yards, 2 TDs

Nice try. Try again.

It's odd that you go on about the greatness of Dallas receivers while simultaneously referring to the man who threw them the ball as garbage. If Dak's accomplishments were in garbage time, then so were his receivers.

Actually, Cooper played well at home and didn't play well on the road. Gallup plays as well as a #2 can in the league, and Cobb had a nice bounce back year for us (though his drops were high)

I'm sure our WRs yards did contribute to garbage time stats, same as the 5 other teams with mediocre QBs that missed the playoffs from that list. Mike Evans/Goodwin aren't the product of Winston, he sucks. The simple fact is, Dak has 3 good WRs as weapons and couldn't get it done.

What a joke. Unsung hero?

Dak flopped against winning teams and put up an epic **** show in the eagles game when it mattered the most.

Why you simply can't look at raw numbers like this writer did

Zzzzz
Ok, so who was our unsung hero?

The 2019 Dallas Cowboys weren’t exactly the type of team that you’ll want to go back and watch several years from now. It was a season that many want to move on from as quickly as possible.

While it did take a bit for plans to initially get off the ground the Cowboys team also moved on rather quickly and already has essentially an entire new coach staff in place. Plans for 2020 are getting put together at a rapid pace and expectations are already starting to build.

NFL.com are doing that by examining “unsung heroes” from all 32 teams last season. Obviously these are players that had performances that they believe were not properly appreciated and the listed answer for the Dallas Cowboys is one that comes with the territory of the position he plays - Dak Prescott.

DALLAS COWBOYS:
Dak Prescott, quarterback. I tried to avoid listing any quarterbacks in either conference, because it’s tough to be unsung while playing the game’s highest-profile position. And when I did choose one, I really wanted it to stand out. I already covered Ryan Tannehill in the AFC half of this exercise, so let’s have a word about Dak, who is currently without a contract for 2020. It’s amazing to me that there are still people who question whether he can lead this team into the future. Let me give you the short answer: He certainly can. He damn near threw for 5,000 yards this season and had 30 touchdowns. I guess the expectations surrounding the position, and maybe some frustration over missing the playoffs, are probably fueling the Dak doubt. But let me tell you, as a fan of a Bears team that has struggled to get it right at the quarterback position for years, the Cowboys are set. So please stop questioning him.

Prescott reached career highs in just about every important individual statistical category and at times seemed like a contender for the league’s MVP award (these times ended on the team’s final drive against the Minnesota Vikings).

Prescott has finished four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys which means both that he is up for a new contract and that he is very well-familiar with the trials of playing under a microscope. Unless you are winning Super Bowls for the Cowboys, there is always going to be debate.

The article’s author, NFL Media’s Adam Rank, mentions himself as a fan of the Chicago Bears and notes that he knows what it’s like to be wandering in the quarterback wilderness and expresses this as a line of caution for Cowboys fans. This coincides with the idea that
Prescott would be wanted by plenty of NFL teams if he were to truly hit the open market which is why the Cowboys need to pay him soon and that when they do the price will be quite high.

Even with the spotlight on him as a quarterback, maybe it’s worth considering that Dak might have been the unsung hero on the 2019 Cowboys. I’d personally argue that La’el Collins might be someone more deserving of the title, not to mention
Robert Quinn, but there is a case to be made for Prescott being unsung in his own way.

Considering that beating any team with a winning record was not possible, I don’t think any player should have hero status. Dak was just as much responsible for the terrible season as any player. Maybe more so.

We'll see how things turn out after they ditch Garrett's predictable playbook. I'm excited to see what Dak does under McCarthy's system. I bet he's going to surprise some people. That being said, I still have concerns about him, but I think he'll pull through.

Great to see people around the league appreciate Daks work . Shows the agenda some bring to this forum to bash him when others around the league can see what real QB problems are and view Dak as a hero .

Really something how the rest of the football watching world can see all the different team problems we had this year and that Dak was actually the bright spot . Others understand that not being able to elevate a team with problems in all phases dose not make you the problem just not the total solution

You would have to be a complete idiot not to see the growth and quality in a guy that led the NFL in passing. If a fan was too dumb to watch the games, then the fact that Dak was #1 in the NFL on passing and the Cowboys offense was #1 in the NFL in offense would give that fan a clue.

Rams are very well-coached team and had winning record when we played them.... debunked...
