Currently being mocked to go in the first round, so that might be too high for some, but he reminds me a lot of a young Witten.

Maybe Witten coming out of college, he's projected to have a similar 40 time to Travis Kelce.
Well, we got Witten in the third. I'd take him in the third.
Here's my question: is Jarwin not ready to assume the starting position. Or do you think we really need to bolster the tight end position with a first or second rounder?

That Dayton TE got good reviews at the Sr Bowl. Said he is a complete TE which is rare now a days. There was another guy who got really good reviews. He played for some college in Fl but not the big 3. Can’t remember his name. Sorry I am getting old.

Was it Harrison Bryant from FAU? He won the John Mackey award and hauled in that 40 yard TD pass from Herbert yesterday.

Harrison looks a lot more like Witten to me...

That’s him. Thanks.

He's about as fast as Witten too. Seems like a big target with limited mobility to me.

Exactly what I saw.

I didn’t see any dynamic ability as a receiver or runner after the catch. What I did see is a guy that was left uncovered a few times in the red zone for easy scores.

Sorry, and I can already anticipate the easy retort, but I’m not looking to replicate Witten. I’m looking for a guy that can actually threaten defenses at the TE position.

It looked like he just found the hole in zone coverage. Or maybe I missed where he flashed speed.

Note, I am not telling you he’s some crazy athlete out there. But he’s more athletic than some are thinking.

to me TE is a key position on offense and is a critical safety valve for any QB

I want a difference maker at TE not an average starter

I dont care if it is FA or draft, we need a number 1 TE

I think the guy we have is an above average receiver as a TE.

We do need to upgrade the position but Jarwin is a legit threat when he’s on the field because he can get vertical so well.

His numbers this year with Witten coming back were impressive.

I don’t mean it as a backhanded compliment but I’d much rather have a guy like Kmet in the 4th round than Dalton Schultz. Kmet at least has above average size to work which sets him apart from Schultz.
