Does anyone have information on the enigma Randy Gregory?

This! Trust me if he was really interested in getting back, he would be making some noise somewhere or at the ranch just trying to get someone's attention BUT not a word from him not a peep.

People need to stop with the "if he was interested" crap.

Dude has a disease. You'd never say that about someone who had cancer. Addiction and mental health issues are real.

Since there's no cost if he isn't reinstated this year they'll just wait and see if the new cba removes weed. If they do remove it they'll probably just reinstate him in 2021 and use him worst case scenario as cheap DE depth
I imagine that is what they will ultimately do.

Just me .....no news with him is bad news. The fact we haven't heard anything, zip, tells me he's done. Think about it, if he was done well, either he or his agent would gladly keep fans updated. The only reason he's still a Cowboy coz he's not costing us anything to leave him on the books.
You don’t tell the media someone battling it’s own demons is doing well

I really hate to say this, but that DL is so pitifully thin (Woods is getting suspended also) that we could seriously use any talented troubled player at this point.

Due to serious draft misses, the outdated staff philosophy, etc...

I would welcome back guys like Gregory and Irving in a heartbeat, hoping for anything at all out of them.

Hes just waiting until the new CBA is done where they remove the weed drug testing. Think I saw something about him trying to play in the xfl because they dont test for it

Jeebus ...... I knew it was only a matter of time before someone compared wanting to smoke pot to Cancer ....... A real disease that has taken the lives of so many good people over the years including my baby sister and grandmother.

If they only new how bad that makes thier argument looks.

Thats all fine and well. But then also remember that the Dallas Cowboys are a football team, not a Betty Ford clinic. He needs to deal with his " disease" in the appropriate place. That place isnt a football team LOL

nothing to see here, MOVE ON AND TURN THE PAGE. Remember how we just allowed Rolando McClain to basically fade away quietly with nary a word? THATS what we are doing now. We tried, we failed...HE IS DONE in the NFL.

So, I guess in the offseason I have time to wonder about things...

And so today was thinking about Randy Gregory. As training camp approached at the start of the season, there were a few stories that indicated he could be close to being reinstated. Then all of a sudden that dried up. The news cycles changed and now nothing.

So, it makes me wonder- what is his current situation? Is he done for good? Did he have another relapse? Has he decided football isn't for him?

I was always intrigued by his talent, but he hasn't been able to consistently stay on the field.
