Twitter is full of sane and insane people. Cesspool at times and certain areas.

It is disgusting.

You can go on reddit and see most sections mourning/being sad that 9 people lost their lives. Then you can go on r/imgoingto... and then see memes joking about his death.

Internet is a weird place to put it simply.

Yes, though, I really like Telegram. I've found it to be much calmer.

Never heard of it. I'll look into it although I admit I've stepped off social media for the most part until free agency for a couple sports. Can't beat twitter for breaking news on signings, unfortunately.

It's so sad. I know he would have given every penny of his to have his daughter be alive. Having 4 kids of my own it's so terrible. Along with the other young girls on the helicopter as well. I think 2 parents were on there and their other 2 kids have no parents. Be blessed with what you have, there are always people out there in worse situations.
Unfathomable. For them all.

I still want to know why they let that helicopter take off. It was given "special clearance."

Another topic for another day.

Man I've never seen so many grown men cry like with this Kobe thing. I wasn't alive when JFK and MLK Jr were assassinated but I can only imagine a similar feeling.
HEAVEN HAS BIG PLANS FOR THEM. Look at the state of affairs in the media, THE WORLD IN GENERAL. Lots of evil on a scale we may have never seen. Its not isolated. GET READY FOLKS, HEAVEN MAY CALL US HOME SOON TOO. There is a spiritual war afoot.

I haven't seen a death so universally mourned in my lifetime

Kobe top 3 all time NBA and I’m not even sure who’s number 2 but I guess that just answered that. Mirrored Jordan and was actually a better shooter. If they met in there primes no telling who tops who.
RIP Mamba

in death, Kobe will live in each one of those kids at his academy. He will be larger than life with all of them His death will change the world. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. He wasn't perfect by any stretch, nor are we...but he always strived to be better each day. As a father, husband, man and human being, that's all one can ask. MANY never have the wherewithal to understand this.

Yeah, Twitter is good at sports. But Telegram is a good place to chat. I've met some scum there, but most are cool. Then again, the vast majority that I talk to on there are fellow furries. Let me PM you my handle on Telegram if you do go on there.

our creator uses people MANY TIMES for a teaching moment,to change the course of a few lives...to change the trajectory. That's what may have occurred here. Our Father in heaven is like any worthy father on Earth, they wanna see their children succeed and be good stewards. Its still hard to fully grasp, but if we take a few steps back and think...it falls into line.

Nobody is crying over Kobe. It's just a humbling experience that puts what's important in perspective.
I am not even a basketball fan but can see how it effects people. You can be a great person and have all the money and fame but when it’s your time then it’s time. Just sad. The ones left behind will hurt. Not just Kobe but at least 3 other families. The pilot and there friends on board have families also.
