They said myles jack had a knee too. If we dont sign a legit 3tech in free agency we have to draft kinlaw. Marshmallow Hill is trash. Kinlaw day 1 is better.

Kinlaw is tearing it up at Sr Bowl practice. He might be out of reach which stinks because o really like him.

Is there any other link or source that backs up Broaddus? I understand he usually is privy to some inside info but I can find anything about Kinlaw’s and knee injuries.

He did leave the Senior Bowl after two practices with "knee tendonitis" and will not play in the game. He was dominating practices though before leaving.

WE HAVE NO CHOICE but to draft him at 17 if hes on the board. He's too good. I wouldn't be mad to see us trade back into late round 1 and pick up additional picks.

People went from taking Delpit weak azz over Kinlaw to begging for Kinlaw lol. Walterfootball just dropped delpit to 24. Of course he'll be there when we pick because hes not that good.

Kinlaw is currently sitting out of Sr. Bowl practices because of tendinitis in his knee(s). One story is they are trying to save him since he is a high first round pick, but it seems to me sitting him will cause his stock to drop. A lot of teams will not touch a player with medical issues. LVE was taken off a lot of boards because he wore a neck brae the last few games of his college career after getting a "stinger". The Cowboys are a team that has historically drafted guys with high upside despite medical issues in the hopes those players could recover and play in the future. If Kinlaw has knee issues already, its not like Jaylon Smith who had a knee injury that needs time to heal. A degenerative knee issue means he will miss games and probably have a short career, if that's what it is. I would love Kinlaw to be a Cowboys if he is healthy. But if he has ongoing knee problems, I would pass on him.

Kinlaw is a guy who can produce immediately. I do not want Dallas to draft any undersized guys who need time to gain strength a grow bigger. A first round pick has to play immediately.

We're in win now mode. I'd still draft him if he's still there at 17 and hopefully get 6-7 productive years out of him.

There are ways you can limit the wear and tear. Limited practice reps, sit him during preseason games, etc.

Just seen a report on Kinlaw on nfl.com site
That he wont be participating in the game because of - Tendinitis in one of his knees
Don't think this is enough to scare any team away from him

tendonitis is no big deal. But I bet he falls to the early teens because of that. IF he does, I would be making calls fast to see if we could trade up.

Javon Kinlaw DT/DE South Carolina

STRENGTHS
Javon has the size and length to play on the inside or outside positions on your defensive line. He has those long arms and legs that make it easy for him to cover ground and get into the backfield to pressure the quarterback off the snap of the ball. Javon uses those long arms and strength to help change the line of scrimmage in his favor on almost every play. He gives excellent effort on every play and will chase and make tackles from behind when the play is to his side. Javon has the potential to be the type of defensive lineman you can build your front four around. He has the “potential to be as impacting at the next level as Saints Cameron Jordan.

CONCERNS
If Javon has already grown into his body, then I believe he should be playing more in space as a DE in a four down line system. He needs to work more in space because on the inside he gets tied up too much and struggles getting off blocks and using his long legs to get into the backfield. At this point in his career, he lacks the techniques and football strength to compete at the level on the inside that his talents and size suggest. He has a long way to go as a Defensive Tackle or nose tackle the way he has been used by his college team. That being said, move him to the outside and in space and I believe he will be unstoppable and as soon as he upgrades his physical stamina and techniques, Javon will impact big time.

BOTTOM LINE 1.64
I watch Javon on film and my “Draftnik” instincts say this kid is playing the wrong position. He should be on the outside where he can use his size and natural strength against offensive tackles and tight ends and running backs after he burst off the line of scrimmage and gains the advantage. Keeping him inside as his college team has, and it will lessen his ability to impact because two big hulking offensive linemen can double team him. Of course, if the team that selects him. chooses to keep him inside as a Defensive Tackle Javon will have to get bigger and stronger and learn better techniques to get off blocks and when he does, I’m sure will impact just as much. So, selecting him early even though he still has a lot to learn is a no brainer. Either way, inside or outside he should become an impact, defensive player. He should become the type of player you can use to build your defense around. Javon should become the type of player teams’ offensive coordinators will have to game plan for so it seems obvious to me that selecting him is just that…obvious.

If his health checks out and makes it out of the top 10, the Cowboys need to go get him in a trade up.

i dont believe this,a quality 3t like kinlaw with a great step step and hands is as valuable as a DE,ask the Rams.
