Applied for a game operations role. Have an interview next week.
Good Luck! Might be a silly question on my part but does game operations role mean you will be at the games? The games will be played in multiple european countries? They(fifa/whoever) might ask you if your willing to travel around europe till the tournament finishes?

They're looking for people local to each venue. Most of the roles are voluntary, including some of the supervisory roles. The game ops roles are all gameday at the venue. Include things like supervising stewards, setting up the venue and anti-doping chaperones. I've been involved in sport most of my life and have done similar roles at other events - so hopeful of getting involved.

Belgium and Italy both went 10 for 10 - 30pts. Their divisions weren't so difficult, still nice to run the table.

4 1/2 months till game time.

Got Israel in Glasgow which we should win. Assuming we do it's then an away game against either Serbia or Norway to qualify. Norway having the hottest young breakthrough player in Europe right now feels a particularly Scottish way of not qualifying.

Also hosting games at a tournament but not qualifying seems like something only Scotland would do.

Would that player be Joshua King?

Might sound weird from an Englishman but come on Scotland. This tournament needs some colour and humour.

He is Norwegian and is very good.
He's also 28 as opposed to 19 and hasn't scored 8 in his first 5 games for Dortmund (including a hat trick on his debut as a 2nd half sub) following his move from Salzburg where he got a hat trick on his Champions League debut.
King is a decent player for a team in the lower half of the English top flight but I don't think anyone would describe him as I described Haaland

Postponed to 2021.

Remaining qualifiers rescheduled for early June.

I'd been looking forward to working on the event - had volunteered for stadium work on gameday.
