Get it down to a coin flip.I’m not a fan of this idea. I don’t think it does anything to increase the quality of the product on the field.
get it down to two preseason games and I might listen
Pretty sure your reply was intended for another posterGet it down to a coin flip.
Just do not let Dak call the flip.
"The coin has 2 sides men..
one side is heads, the other side is tails.
Mr. Prescott, call it in the air.
And its heads, Dallas wins the toss.Mr. Prescott what do you choose?
We will take the the ball and defer to the second half and I will personally take $35 mil/yr for 5 years.
Mr. Prescott, please go sit down."
To me all his crooning about wanting to be a Cowboy his whole life AND that he is so interested in winning in Dallas is getting more and more hollow.
Knowing he is asking so much money that will effect the team's ability to pay the talent around him will be crippled..
my eyes are seeing more clearly what's up with this guy.
I know you guys must have picked up on this..
but I was wondering what you guys thought about the fact that there is discussion about increasing the regular season from 16 games to 18.
Additionally there is interest of reducing the pre-season games from 5 to 3.
I guess this will really gain speed when the TV contracts are up for renewal.
But wonder what you guys think about this and how does this effect the game.
One thing to me is it will increase rosters to help teams last that long and help keep play quality high.
Other observations?
Thanks guys.
Not going to happen.but I was wondering what you guys thought about the fact that there is discussion about increasing the regular season from 16 games to 18.
Garrett can just go 9-9 coaching his next team
And keep his job for 10 years because of being average.
Thursday games show you they don’t care about the players.18 Season season says they don't care about the players. A 16 Game season is already though enough on players bodies, and can fill a team with injuries...

Yeah and they are asking for some concessions with stuff like weed testing. I see the owners saying you want that, we want 18 games. If it makes the owners money, and it will, Its going to happen. The NFLPA was already opposed to adding a 17th game. So I have no idea where you are coming from with this post.
I expect 17 game season.
Yes, two byes also.I agree. 18 games is being put out there as a negotiating tactic with the NFLPA before compromising with 17. The end point will be something like the following:
17 game regular season.
2 bye weeks.
3 preseason games.
A couple of extra roster spots e.g. 56 man roster.
More flexible IR rules to allow players be removed and returned to active roster if they are injured for a few weeks.
17th game will be at a neutral venue overseas - capiitalise on demand and generate more income. Plus it means teams dont have to give up a home fixture. They have been working on this plan at the European end for a while and want to diversify - Brexit adds additional risks re London.
The players are gonna want a lot of money to play 17, and 18 even moreNot going to happen.
