Maybe the timing of running it. Not so predictable. We will have to throw it sometimes on 1st down. But if we are running at will then let it be predictable if they can’t stop it.

Lol, ok. It says a lot about me because I’m vocal and dislike a guy who bullies people, consistently puts himself and therefore his team at risk, sits out of pre season practice with his teammates while demanding to be the highest paid for his position with two years left on his contract, wants to be “fed” the ball but taps out when the team needs him most and is anything but a team leader on or off the field.

I’ll only assume you meant that statement as a compliment. Thanks!
It says a lot about you're obsessed with him. It also says that you only pay attention to the things that confirm your biases against him and have no grasp of the fact that he's not the first player to hold out.

The "he's more likely to steal my wife's purse" sentiment is only reflective of one thing, and it's on your end.

"Zeke is hungry"

That's why he come sin each season out of shape. Make sense.
It probably takes more to feed that dome of his than the rest of his body combined. If he used diet shampoo he would probably shed 10 lbs alone.

I’ve said several times he is the player I’ve disliked most on this team and hated the draft pick. Do you go around to all the “Dak sucks” threads and call out the hundreds of people that are “obsessed” with him?

Yeah, the “dude” carries purses, that is reflective of one thing, finally we agree on something. He should get a custom made bedazzled Cowboys purse with a diamond encrusted star on the side to represent “Americas Team”. He would look real cute carrying it with his little belly shirts that he stole from the teenage girls in every 80’s movie.

Name me one other player in Cowboys history that has held out with two years left on their contract? I’ll wait for your answer until I reply further.

None of the people who call out Dak do it on such a personal level. You're just skirting around terms that you know are banned here. Just go right ahead and say them.

You're missing the point. It's reflective of YOU to have an opinion on whether or not you think he's going to steal the purse or whether or not he should wear one.

None. I don't care and it doesn't matter. Players hold out all the time. The "honor the contract" nonsense is just fans whining b/c they're jealous of players getting paid. That's it.

lol. That is how you want football games to start Mr. Elliott.

I wish that particular meeting had included the offensive coordinator and quarterback too.

early talks, nothing set in stone. give it some more time. it wont only be running to start.

I don’t really agree w zeke, yea sure he’s gonna feel like the run game is important. Obviously the past 10 years didn’t work you can’t just line up and tell them your gonna run and that’s all it takes. Like if Dallas ran the ball a little better that’s the missing link. Also ha, what’s the coach gonna say? Yea man we’re gonna run the ball.
Not true last year we went pass heavy and 8-8 worst year under dak and zeke..

take this note most of the teams o=in the payoffs this year were tops in rushing, SF one of the best and in the SB did you see how little they used their QBs, they could have ran wildcat and won.. its great defense , great run game, good STs, and pass when needed or games where the run game is slowed or stopped, pass on them but the formulas have switched unless you have Mahomes type elite QB..

they needed to use Zeke and pollard not just in volume but in scheme and in the pass game more..we did not need close to 3 1k WRs in garbage time stats, we need a better TE and more Run game..

we did run close to normal amount but not schematically it had no purpose or flow, seems as if the run game was splintered and being called by a different coach then the pass game., it was odd..they paased when they shoud ahve ran and ran when they shoud have passed in a lot of games or passed 13 striaght times after zeke was ripping off 6YPC etc etc or ran way too much when the pass was going like MN.. KM forst year was very good but he needs to work on FEELING the flow of the game and callingplays like it..

I think not have a full offseason with the team set Zeke back last year. Hopefully with no contract issues this year he’ll look more like Zeke. Need to see more of the burst through the hole. I would also like to see more fire from him. Same with Amari.
Zeke ran hard and was very good to end a season , led the league in First half yards..its a bad narrative he was NOT out of shape or a step off..there were reasons in some of those games the run game was shut down and more play calling then Zeke...I saw him looking like Zeke more times then not..there were games he was ripping off 6YOC at the half and beyond me they went away from it, he was cutting back a lot the last 6 games shaking off off or running over tacklers.. not sure if you are blind but he was on fire a lot of those games only to be shut down by playcalls..

Bwahahaha...the ole jealousy accusation. You have no idea what I value or envy in life. You say it’s reflective of me for my thoughts of Zeke yet you’re accusing me of being jealous of a player I despise. Hypocrite much?

FYI, the money he makes has nothing to do with jealousy, it has to do with I don’t think ANY RB is worth that much (nor that high of a draft pick). His selfishness off the field have effected this team whether you want to admit it or not.

Still waiting on your answer, name me one other Cowboy that has EVER held out with 2 years left?

BTW, I never said he should carry a purse, I said he does!

Two divas with a lot of similarities!

He didn’t have a consistent year at all but I’ll grant you he looked better at the end. I think with a full offseason of work he’ll regain some of that burst that was certainly missing.

Nobody who complains about players' contracts does it out of anything other than jealousy. That's it. Hard stop.

That's separate of why you despise him. Like I said, you just can't say those words. One starts with an N, the other starts with an F.

LOL .... " Divas " ?
when have you ever seen zeke griping and beetching in the ear of his QB about how he is not getting the ball,.. or disgruntled about how he is not involved in the offense? ..
When has zeke ever drawn any conclusion that he is a locker room cancer ?

Are you kidding me? So the hundreds, if not thousands, of fans who say they would be ok with Dak making 25-30 vs 40+ a year are doing it out of jealousy? How delusional are you?

Yeah, no one cares about cap space or thinks money could be better allocated to other positions or players of need...it’s all about jealousy

I have no idea what the hell you’re talking about and I find it hypocritical and offensive that you bash me for judging someone else while you’re doing it yourself.

If you want me to go incident by incident as to why I don’t like Zeke then read my post history. You can go back to college, the St Patty Day parade, nightclub incident, security guard incident, other nightclub incident, tapping out on the field or sitting out demanding to be the highest paid. If none of those fit whatever the he’ll you’re accusing me of than come out and say it!

BTW, funny how you think anyone who doesn’t like a player holding out is jealous. I’m curious, is that a broad accusation or on an individual player basis?

Still waiting. What other Cowboy has EVER held out with two years left on their contract?

Oh I dunno, by going to Cabo and refusing to play or practice with his team until he his the highest paid RB in the league with TWO years left on his contract! Yeah, that’s not being a diva.

I’d rather see him griping for the ball more, at least it would show he cared. Instead he does some stupid gesture after every 5-10 yard run asking for the ball more then he goes back to the huddle, looks at the side line and starts tapping the top of his helmet to come out.

Contract holdouts is not unusual and we see that around the NFL, that doesn't have jack to do with being a "diva'.
Divas are griping at the QBs on the sideline and in the public, throwing them under the bus in media comments.
Trying to show up fellow teammates in public and throwing them under the bus as well., Pointing fingers at coaches in public, ..none of that has been Zeke,.
As far as tapping his helmet, that's a coaching issue and something the Garrett regime allow to develop and persist on, note how he wasn't doing that when he entered the NFL

I'm counting on MM to mesh his devised of running the ball with Kellen.
I'll found the video (per Voch Lombardi) i'd like to show as example of how it gonna be more exciting plan and scheme as
compared to the Kellen/Columbo run version, which was just way too much/too many shotgun-RPO, imo.

and I've concluded that zeke runs more effectively when he can get the deep handoff from QB under center and get a early vision and head of steam
towards the line vs these shotgun draw-handoffs.

And the run game may be versatile under MM with both inside and outside on the edges vs just middle blasts.

this is hopefully the run game look expected from McCarthy.

Fact alert!

We ran 301 times with Zeke. That's 2 off the league lead.

Add in another 86 from Pollard and the claim that we aren't running is pretty much dead.
The OL needs to step it up a bit. But I do hope McCarthy brings some creativity to the run game.

You really have to get Pollard in the mix. im not saying stat wise, but hunger wise, Pollard looked better than Zeke last year.

Zeke threw Urban under the bus in college. Holding out with two years left is unprecedented and demanding to be paid the highest at his position brings diva to an entirely new level. I’m sure we haven’t heard him gripe at teammates because he has had one of the best O lines in the league since day 1. I’m sure if he were playing behind NY’s O line it would be a different story. He’s been seen pouting on the sidelines more than once and quit in the Denver game, stood there with his hands on his hips like a little diva brat.
