Next year I think Garrett will be their head coach. So if you don’t like Garrett you really don’t want to be the Jets next year

I think they are going to regret hiring Gase, if they don't already. The Dolphins with Gase were a bad team, with Flores they were still a bad team but surprisingly competitive the last half of the season even with the fire sale of players. Parker broke out under the new regime and was one of the better WRs in the league. Then you look at the success and flashes former Dolphins players showed on new teams. Tannehill leading a new team to the Conf Championships, RB Drake showing real promise behind a bad OL, even hung over 100yds against the 9ers. Quinn and M. Fitzpatrick having big years on new teams. Flores was getting more out of considerably less from the same team.

His ego will be his downfall.

That 2016 season went to his head.

I'm annoyed with the Jets for getting rid of their vintage Namath-era uniforms. The new ones look like crap. If they're going to be a sorry-*** cellar-dwelling team, they could at least look cool.

I’m calling it right now. The Patriots finish last in that division next year.

A lot of Pats fans were down on this signing. Belichick was a retread head coach, who was a better coordinator than a HC, was the usual refrain... I was one of them ... So glad I was wrong.

Thank God I'm not Benny and the Jets!
Then people would be singing that damnable Elton John song at me everywhere I go.

Adam Gase blew his chance at winning in Miami when he brought Jay Cutler in.
He might eventually have some success, but he seems to be wooed by players with personalities but not talent.
He needs to grow up.

Kind of sounds like you're describing Jerry.
